  • Walk to the Village, stroll to Big Bear Lake, and enjoy a cozy mountain getaway at A Beary Happy Cabin. This charming 2-bedroom cabin puts you close to restaurants, shops and local attractions while giving you a comfortable place to relax around the wood-burning fireplace after a day of Big Bear adventures.

    Perfect for couples, families or a small group, the 900+ sq. ft. cabin sleeps up to 5 guests and features a renovated kitchen, fast WiFi, Smart TVs, a dedicated workspace and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to unwind.

    Inside the cabin
    Gather in the comfortable living room around the wood-burning fireplace, watch your favorite shows on the large TV, or enjoy board games and family time around the dining table.

    The renovated kitchen includes granite countertops, a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, espresso machine, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crockpot, rice cooker, cookware and dishes—everything you need for meals at the cabin.

Super relaxing stay in Big Bear!

We had a wonderful and very relaxing time! The cabin was so nice and cozy and had everything you needed. It's a super close walk into town and short drive to other spots in Big Bear that you may want to visit. Thanks for a great stay!

This place was amazing for my kids! Lots of toys and instruments and books for them to play, and close to many of big bears attractions.

Excellent Cabin

Great location, walkable to the village, lake and hiking trails. Clean and spacious! Absolutely loved it and will definitely book again soon.

An Amazing Family Getaway

This cabin was everything we needed for the weekend. Its location also helped out a great deal. The whole family really enjoyed it to include the dogs. We will definitely be visiting again no doubt. Thank you guys for the amazing stay.

Great Cabin in a Great Location

From the start Cool Cabins was amazing with their communication and customer service, made our stay that much better. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay in Big Bear. Less than a half mile walk from the Village, very clean, updated bathroom and very comfortable beds! We will definitely be staying here again and again!

The Perfect Escape!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for my family to have a quiet and cozy birthday celebration. The cabin was exactly as described...clean, cozy and perfectly located. My 8 year old niece thought it was the "perfect cabin," and made me promise we would stay there again. She also made excellent use of the toys provided.Check in and check out was extremely easy. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Loved our cabin!

It had everything we needed and then some. Super cute and cozy. Nice backyard fenced in for our dog. Great location as we walked to town a couple times. I would stay here again! The bed was comfy too! The towels at the home weren’t super soft. But all else met good quality standards!!

Great cabin close to city center and the lake

Clean, cute cottage/cabin really conveniently located. 2 rooms upstairs, sleeps up to 5, 2 car parking spots. Kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Only drawback would be if you aren’t keen on stairs the rooms are upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. Had some board games and little activities. Great appliance selection in the kitchen if you want to cook. Overall really great experience and the company was easy to work with!

Turkey Day retreat

We decided to get away for Thanksgiving in Big Bear Lake. This little cabin fit our family of 3 well, though it was a bit tight with our 2 big dogs (with their crates). The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, though a few more sharp knives and/or a knife sharpener would’ve been nice. A fenced in yard was great for letting the dogs wander a bit. And the bird feeders made watching the birds and chipmunks fun. It was an easy walk into the village, too.

Comfortable house

The house is good if you're a family or travelling with a pet. The kitchen and bathroom are clean and functional, and the location is convenient and super quiet, which makes for a comfortable stay. However, the downstairs area needs some work. The carpet is very worn out and smells like pets, which affects the overall freshness. It would be perfect if the house were remodelled with wooden floors, making it easier to clean and more suitable for guests with pets.

This cabin was spectacular for a getaway. I was blessed to snow from their master bedroom patio. This cabin was clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly. Most importantly it was close to the village; the walk to the village was 7-8 minutes. Loved this cabin and plan on returning for another getaway. They had bird feeders in the gated backyard, which was breathtaking to experience. Thank you again.

Perfect Stay!

This rental had everything we needed for my husband and our dog. We spent 2 nights and had multiple outings to the Village and surrounding areas to eat and explore. The location is perfect for a home base but still very quiet.

A perfect and cozy cabin

A perfect, cozy and comfortable cabin for a small family. We stayed over for 4 days and had a great time with our family of 6 including us, parents, a 3 year old and a dog. The cabin had all the essentials, clean and well equipped. Check in and checkout was smooth as well. Our little one had a great time with the collection of toys and games they had, it basically kept her well entertained and occupied. Would recommend this cabin for a cozy staycation.

Great for kids

The place was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved all the games and the stairs. It was close to everything and cozy. It would have been nice if there was a washer dryer but other than that it was a nice stay.

Beary Happy Cabin

Almost Perfect, wanted hot tub after walks on hills. Next Time I'll look at fenced 2 beds on the more level, lake side of 18. Nearer Bark Park. Single Story would have been better.

Big Bear getaway

We had a great time. The kids loved the house. They had never stayed in a 2 story before. The premises were clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thankyou for a great weekend.
