Getaway with Friends
The cabin is fantastic, you will love it more in person. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are games and books, the backyard was perfect for the grille and jacuzzi. There were 4 of us, we fit perfect. The only downfall was the one car parking only. We will stay here again!

Cozy little paradise
This home is so cute and cozy. After a crazy drive from San Diego on a Friday evening we were welcomed by a warm house, that had the lights on waiting for us. The house has everything you will need for a great weekend.

Great stay
Cozy place. Two bedroom but home may be a little small for 4 people. Perfect for two or three though. Great yard for the dogs and hot tub was perfect (great for two, maybe 3 people.) clean, beds were comfortable. Internet was a bit spotty though (would lose signal or it would stall for a few minutes every so often). Maybe a 10 minute drive to snow summit…excellent location if you want to stay outside of Big Bear Lake but close to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Would stay here again.

Lots of rules
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was up to date and had everything we needed. The property management is what brings down the score. There are so many rules and they are very specific. Some make sense and are normal, some are odd. My son couldn't ride with us due to his work schedule so was going to come in a separate vehicle. Well, they wouldn't allow us to have two cars even though there is ample parking with two driveways. There is one driveway in front of the house, another in front of the garage. The driveway we used would have easily accommodated both our vehicles but the management insisted a second vehicle would equal a large penalty fee on a daily basis. Also, when I requested to book, and asked about our dogs it was one price $307 a night, by the time they responded a couple hours later they had doubled price, and would not honor the original price. Speaking of dogs, MAKE SURE TO CHECK BOTH GATES before you put dogs in the back yard. We put our dogs in the yard only to discover they almost got out because neither gate was securely latched. On one gate the wood slab was broken and gate itself was unable to fully close. We literally put a pile of rocks to hold it closed. The other gate had a bent latch and was able to be easily pushed open. Meanwhile the property is literally 3 houses away from Big Bear Blvd which is extremely dangerous if a dog somehow got out. Very scary situation! We won't be booking again with this property management company, which is a shame as the cabin was awesome.

Very clean and quaint
Property managers were always available to help. Cottage was charming and everything we needed was at hand. Neighborhood noisy from the main road. Hot tub was not up to par as reflected in photos. Overall good stay for a short holiday getaway.

Comfortable Retreat
Very comfortable, close to town, the fenced in yard was great for the dog, the decor and all the ammenaties were functional as well as laid out perfectly and appealing. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Lovely place
We had the best time at this adorable cabin! Perfect for 2! The only thing I would say is we aren’t the biggest fans of Roku, that was hard to navigate, and the spare bedroom is set up for VCR tapes, it should be updated. But we had a lovely time

Best Rental Ever!!

I tried to find a place privately owned and managed as I like to support other owners. With the short notice I picked this place. Pros: Fenced backyard, hot tub, kitchen. Cons: Beds and pillows very uncomfortable, toilet paper and paper towels are the cheapest possible option. If I wanted hotel quality I would stay at one. I would definitely bring your own pillows and toilet paper for comfort. Only 1 large fan, it was a heat wave when we were there and did not have much to try to stay cool. It was 90 degrees inside. The driveway is extremely narrow, we brought our F250 and it barely fit. It was hard to get in and out of. We will not be returning as there are much better options in Big Bear.

it didn't meet our expectation.
we would not go back to the same place again, we killed bunch of medium size black spiders there,it was not fun with the presence of my 2 kids, the smell of under the sink ( trash can) was stinky, we assumed to have a washer and dryer but they don't have them. They regulated the thermostat to 75 max, it was not even enough to keep the cabin warm, they don't have vents in the bedrooms, so it was freezing cold in the rooms. we're definitely planning on going back there again but in a different location/management. Thanks.

Nice place in big bear!
Nice quaint little cabin like place close to big bear village. Brought the boat and was able to park in the driveway. A bit small for more than a couple, we did bring the dogs though and there was plenty of room for us two and the two dogs. Fenced in backyard with nice little hot tub. Very quiet neighborhood. Will likely come back to this place in the future.

We Love This Place!
I thought about either not writing a review or leaving a horrible one because honestly, I don't want to share this gem! I want it to be open for me to book whenever I feel like it! But since that's not the nice thing to do, I'll just say it the way it is. This place is absolutely beautiful. It was beyond perfect for what we were looking needed. The pictures don't do justice. Clean and comfortable bedrooms, Nice bathroom and shower. Fully stocked kitchen (we didn't even go out to eat) with beautiful skylights. Large front porch with sitting area. And the backyard.. heaven! Fully enclosed backyard with BBQ, hot tub and simple charm. The home was more then perfect for 2 people and a small dog. Great location, literally right next to everything. Couldn't have been better!

Great little cottage for a weekend getaway. Secluded backyard was nice and it had everything we needed. Only complaint was that the spa could have been cleaner, but overall a great place and I would stay there again.

Very quiet stay for the 4th of July weekend
The rental was great. The beds seemed really tall. The kitchen was great since we prepared 90% of all meals ourselves. We came to rest and keep our dogs away from fireworks. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. It’s outside of big bear which is just fine for me. There is a lot of art work and trinkets in the house so be careful. The management company was great. The yard was small but the jacuzzi was nice. Fenced backyard was necessary to let the dogs roam in and out if the house without fear of danger.

Cozy with nice amenities
Even the hot tub was cozy. We are both over six feet tall. At first, we felt a little cramped, but the high ceilings helped make us feel comfortable. The cabin was clean, neat, and well stocked. We will consider using this property again to escape the heat in Vegas.

The house and location itself was clean and easy to find as it’s right off the 38. The only complaint was the spa was milky with film and was unable to be used the entire trip which was a bummer as it would’ve been nice after a day at the bike park.

4th of July Weekend
This is the perfect spot if your looking for a cool cabin get away to enjoy with your dogs. Our pups enjoyed escaping the AZ heat as much as we did. The hot tub was such a nice bonus in the evenings! The cabin was close enough to everything and very well maintained. We had a great long weekend!

Perfect romantic getaway for us and our dogs
Cozy but well appointed home, with awesome upgraded shower and mostly private jacuzzi tub and completely fenced back yard. Kitchen has upgraded counter tops and fully stocked with appliances. We really enjoyed our stay in big bear and will stay here again for sure.

Big Bear Spring Break
This cute little house was perfect for my family and dogs. The house was very organized and clean. The small backyard was perfect for our dogs and we used the jacuzzi daily and BBQ’d our last night. We came here during spring break to get away from the city and hike and mountain bike and this house was the perfect complement to our visit. We would definitely come back. This is a lovely cottage perfect for a family of 3-4 and dogs.

Perfect little cozy spot for a close group of 4 (or less)
We were a group of 2 couples and had a lovely 2-night stay. You definitely need to be close to your housemates at this place as the quarters are quite cozy and there's only 1 bathroom, but it was fine for our group and it was a beautiful stay. The accommodations are very nice and beds are comfortable. The cabin is very nicely decorated as many reviews indicated, with many welcomed upgrades, and we agree with many others that both the bbq and hot tub were key (especially after our day of skiing and snowboarding!). We found everything we needed to prepare a great meal, enjoyed the hot tub outside and wood fire inside, and overall had a wonderful time. The distance to the village was easy so don't let that factor deter you, also there is shopping closer by than the village. The property management company, Grizzly Vacation rentals, is also top notch - super nice, responsive and helpful. We would for sure stay at this property again (assuming they'll have us :-) and the price stays right(!)), and we would also for sure be happy to work with Grizzly Vacation Rentals again. Thank you again so much to the owners and to Grizzly for making this property available and so warm and welcoming!

Great place to stay!!!
Stayed here for 2 nights and we loved it! Perfect lil backyard with a nice jacuzzi and bbq grill. Loved all the board games they have there too, and the kitchen was very nice! Would for sure stay here again!
