The home was aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations given the price.First and foremost, upon arrival we learned that the clothes dryer was not working. For a mountain retreat in the winter, a functioning dryer is essential. This issue was compounded by the fact that only one set of towels was provided for the entire house. As a result, after each shower or use of the jacuzzi, we were forced to reuse damp towels throughout our stay. Additionally, every subsequent dip in the jacuzzi meant putting on a cold, damp bathing suit, which significantly impacted our comfort.Three of the dining room chairs had seats that were completely blown out, forcing the children to eat every meal at the bar instead of at the table. After dinner on the first night, we loaded the dishwasher only to discover there were no dishwasher pods in the home. When we contacted the owner, we were told there was a market at the bottom of the hill where we could pick some up. Driving down the hill late at night was not a reasonable option, so we had to hand wash and dry all of the dishes instead. The jacuzzi did heat properly; however, none of the jets were functioning. While not a major issue on its own, a fully functioning jacuzzi is something you reasonably expect at this price point. On a positive note, the downstairs bunk room and common area were excellent for the kids. They truly felt like they had their own private cabin, which was a highlight of the stay.
