Fantastic

Place was great, especially as the other cottage wasnt booked so we had everything to ourselves, hosts were very helpful and chatty, already send links to this property to lots of our friends.

A little bit of heaven in devon

We had a lovely stay here while our home was being repaired. The Cottage was tidy, clean and homely, with the garden and swimming pool well used by our daughter. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time here, thank you very much for a lovely 3 weeks :)

Great cottage

Beautiful well looked after cottage. The owners are very polite and helpful. Kids loved the swimming pool and peacocks. Lovely farm. Thanks again for looking after us.

Fantastic cottage in a great location

We had a fabulous week in the cottage. Lovely cottage in a great location. Clean and well equipped. Owners were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Christine took us to watch the calves feeding and showed us all her wonderful birds. Lovely walks in the area, great beaches nearby and plenty to do at the cottage. Games room and pool were a fantastic added bonus!

Heerlijke en zeer kindvriendelijke accomodatie!

Geweldig huis met fijne tuin. Heerlijk verwarmd zwembad bij het huis. De accomodatie bestaat uit twee aan elkaar gebouwde vakantiehuizen. Wij hadden Millers Cottage tot onze beschikking. Deze cottage heeft een fijne groene tuin met fijn tuinmeubilair en droogrek. Het huis heeft een elektrische kachel die het huis zeer snel kan opwarmen als het fris is. Er zijn twee douches en 1 bad. Zeer compleet in gericht. Grote trampoline voor de kinderen. Diverse speelhuisjes. Deze speelattributen staan in een tuin die gemeenschappelijk gebruikt kan worden. Dit is naast het zwembad. Ook is er een ruimte waar je kunt tafeltennissen, darten en poolen. De kinderen vonden dit geweldig! De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig! Zeer veel mooie wandelingen gemaakt, ook langs het Coast Path. Christina is een zeer vriendelijke host. Ze had zelfs een keer toen het regende onze was van de lijn gehaald en opgevouwen!

Great cottage, great hosts, great location

This place is fantastic, lovely cottage situated on a farm, plenty of space and great for little kids. The cottage was clean and spacious, with a lovely private garden, a great indoor pool onsite and larger grounds shared with the single other cottage. As it is on a farm there are some animals you can go see, which was a big hit with our little one and having the playgrounds on site was another great plus. The swimming pool is great, it is heated and indoors so you can swim whatever the weather. We loved our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. Cannot not recommend highly enough and will definitely go back if we can. Thanks for the great holiday

Very comfortable spacious cottage

Beautifully clean, comfortable and very well equipped cottage. Lovely scones waiting for us when we arrived. Kids loved the pool, games room and trampoline. We loved exploring Hartland Point coastal path and Bude (both within 30 mins easy drive) and Saunton Sands (bit further away). Great spot.

Perfect family holiday

Lovely cottage and garden, with the added bonus of a fabulous pool and games room, just perfect for all of the family. My parents stayed in the cottage next door, which was lovely to be able to holiday with extended family, but still all have space for everyone. Christine and Gordon were great hosts, and the scones on arrival were perfect! The cottage had everything we needed and the location is great to explore the area. We shall be certainly be visiting again soon! Thank you for an amazing holiday.

Great cottage with lovely pool & garden

We loved our stay, our cottage met all our needs & had everything we needed. The garden & pool were a great bonus. Lovely area, close to plenty of places to visit & a great pub in the village itself. Although a bit dated, we found the cottage clean & well equipped & ideal for our family group. Would definitely recommend & return!

Perfect stay

The property was very comfortable, clean and spacious with everything you'd need. It was lovely to have the garden too and a swimming pool for our sole use (on a rota with one other property) was a fantastic amenity to have. Christina and Gordon are very caring hosts who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and hassle-free.

Well equipped cottage in lovely setting

Lovely,comfortable cottage with excellent facilities. Beautiful garden with the bonus of a large indoor pool. We were all adults, but the property had everything to ensure an excellent holiday for families with children.

Relaxing getaway

Christina and Gordan were great hosts during our stay, on arrival we were met with jam and cream scones in the cottage. The cottage was well equipped and had lots of personal touches to make us feel at home. The village is a short walk away and the beaches a short drive, having said that we spent almost all of our time at the cottage as our 4 children loved being there and being able to use the large garden, games room and the pool, they were also fascinated with the peacocks! This also gave myself and my husband time to relax in the private garden and just listen to the birds singing, bliss! We hope to return very soon and would definitely recommend.

Home from home

Christina and Gordon went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The cottage was well equipped with all the little extras that you would normally have to take with you on a self catering holiday. The cream tea was an extra special touch and very welcome after a 6 hour journey. The rooms were well laid out and very clean. The swimming pool and play area was well used by our grandchildren and they loved being shown the baby chicks. Thank you both and hope to see you again soon.

Lovely cottage and lovely hosts

Arrived to a warm welcome and Devon cream tea. We were a family of 5 with older teenagers and a small dog - the cottage was very spacious and comfortable - a home from home. Christina and Gordon were lovely and very helpful. We all enjoyed the games room and the swimming pool. We definitely would recommend and would love to return.

Family holiday with grandchildren at Millers and Rosies cottages

The cottages are in a very peaceful location but convenient for Woolsery with its "Open all hours" shop together with an excellent fish and chip shop and pub.. The cottages had all the facilities we required together with the bonus of the indoor pool and games room (Both a real highlight for the children) plus a good sized trampoline. The friendly owners went above and beyond what we could have expected by changing a duvet cover to one more suited to our autistic grandson without being asked. We were welcomed on arrival with scones and cream and jam which was a first for us. A special treat for our animal mad grandchildren was an early morning visit with Christina to feed the poultry and peacocks. (The latter were very quiet during our stay). Excellent information in the cottages regarding the local area was very helpful. (The girls thoroughly enjoyed horse riding at the local stables .) The holiday was a great success with all three generations and indeed one of our most enjoyable family holidays. Much credit must go to Christina and Gordon for such comfortable and well maintained cottages..

Cleaner than my house!

Lovely cottage, absolutely spotless and perfect for a family break. Christina was very accommodating and took our son to see the peacocks in her garden, as well as let him see and hold some chicken chicks that were only a couple of days old. It made his day, and we had tears on leaving because he would miss his favourite peacock called Rupert!
