Welcome to Curricle, a beautifully appointed apartment within the grade 2 listed converted 18th century coaching inn. Situated adjacent to the historic Pannier Market in the heart of Bideford and offering the perfect base for exploring the stunning North Devon coastline. Whether you're planning a couples' escape or a relaxing break with friends, Curricle provides everything you need for a memorable stay.



The bright and welcoming open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from breakfast to family dinners. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also provided for added convenience during longer stays. A separate WC adds extra practicality for guests.



The apartment comfortably sleeps up to four guests across two spacious bedrooms, each furnished with a luxurious king-size bed to ensure a restful night's sleep. There are two contemporary en-suite bathrooms, with one bathroom featuring a bath, separate shower and WC, while the second bathroom is a wet room offering a shower, hand basin and WC—ideal for families or couples travelling together.



Step outside onto the private roof terrace, the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, unwind with a good book or relax with a glass of wine after a day exploring the beautiful North Devon coast.



Curricle is perfectly positioned to enjoy everything Bideford has to offer. Wander along the historic quayside, browse the independent shops, cafés and restaurants, or enjoy riverside walks along the River Torridge. The popular Tarka Trail is nearby, offering miles of scenic walking and cycling routes, while a ferry from Bideford provides access to the unique island of Lundy for an unforgettable day trip. Families can also enjoy popular local attractions such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park.



Venture a little further afield and discover some of North Devon's most spectacular scenery. The award-winning beaches of Westward Ho!, Instow, Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe are all within easy reach, offering excellent opportunities for surfing, swimming and coastal walks. Explore the dramatic landscapes of Exmoor National Park, visit the picturesque fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, or spend the day discovering North Devon's charming market towns, gardens and historic attractions.



Whilst there is no private or allocated parking, guests are able to use one of the many nearby car parks during their stay. Please check the ticket machine carefully for instructions on how to pay/ register your car in the car park.
