  • This beautiful coastal home with a reverse-level living design to take advantage of the superb surrounding views is ideal for families or friends looking for a relaxing seaside holiday in Devon. The property is less than a mile from the sandy beach. The picturesque village of Appledore with its beautiful quay can be reached by a passenger ferry during the summer or is 6 miles by car. Nearby Westward Ho! (5.5 miles) is a popular family beach, so bring your buckets, spades and water sports gear for an unforgettable day out.

    This contemporary seaside home with elegant styling and decor in calming tones offers a warm welcome at any time of year. Enter the hallway, and you''ll find the family bathroom and four bedrooms: two king-size with ensuite shower room (one with a Smart TV) and two twin. Heading upstairs, a half landing offers access to the rear garden. Then, continue up to the bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is the perfect setting for socialising. There''s plenty of comfortable seating for chatting and a Smart TV for catching up on box sets. An electric living flame log fire creates a cosy ambience on cooler evenings. Large windows and skylights allow natural light to flood in, and bi-folding doors open onto a decked balcony with seating. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances to cook up a storm.     Whether you love to walk or cycle, the traffic-free Tarka Trail runs through Instow, so you can enjoy discovering the towns along the route. Plenty of family attractions, including The Big Sheep (5 miles) and The Milky Way (12 miles), are close by and handy for any rainy days. Watermouth Castle (19.5 miles) is a must-visit on the scenic north coast.
