  • This coastal retreat is nestled within the North Devon countryside, close to the quaint village of Abbotsham (1 mile). Sleeping four guests, the property is ideal for couples and small families who enjoy an outdoor lifestyle, with coastal walks directly from the property and easy access to some of the region’s finest beaches, including Westward Ho! (3.5 miles). Nearby attractions include The Big Sheep (1 mile) and Hartland Abbey (14 miles).


    This stylish bolthole is one of four similar holiday homes on the owner’s farm. The accommodation is all on one level and at the heart of the home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Spend time here, after a long coastal walk, trying out new recipes in the sleek kitchen area, sharing memorable mealtimes at the dining table, and gathering around the Smart TV for a cosy movie night. When day turns to night, retire to one of the two elegant bedrooms, both of which have their own en-suite shower rooms. Outside, the enclosed patio garden by stock fencing, enjoys panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Relax here, cooking fresh seafood on the BBQ and enjoying al fresco dinners under the stars.


    The vibrant coastal village of Westward Ho! boasts a long, sandy beach backed by dunes and a pebble ridge. Popular with water sports enthusiasts, you’ll find several local companies offering activities such as surfing, kayaking and paddleboarding. For shopping and eating out, head to the historic town of Bideford (3 miles). The town has a good range of independent restaurants, and also hosts a regular market where you can pick up local goods and produce. For picture-postcard scenery, head to the idyllic fishing village of Clovelly (10.5 miles), known for its cobbled high street, flower-covered cottages and picturesque harbour.

    - 2 en-suite shower rooms with shower enclosures and WCs

    - Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine

    - Travel cot and high chair available on request

    - This property's eco credentials include solar panels and underfloor heating via air source heat pump

    - Smart TV in lounge

    - Enclosed gardens with patio, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ

    - No fire works within the grounds at all please, thank you

    - Christmas Decorations are put up for Christmas and NY

    - Ample off-road parking in the communal car park (trolleys provided to wheel luggage to your door)

    - Shop 2 miles, pub/restaurant and pebble beach within 1 mile, sandy beach 3 miles

    - Please note: There is a pond in the grounds (children and dogs to be supervised), with hares, pheasants and other wildlife in the fields around our stock fenced gardens we kindly ask that dogs are kept under close control.

    Join our regular yoga class on Thursday at 11am with Sue our qualified instructor in our purpose built beautiful studio - £10 for an hour class, or request a 121 practice by arrangement. Sound bath available on request.


    Tour the 85 acre farm on one of our Rewilding Tours to experience the changes we have made to the landscape to promote wildlife, we will take you on a 1 hour walk around the farm to show the tree planting, ponds, scrapes, banks and wildflowers. We only request a small donation towards our rewilding funds. The ground is uneven in places so suitable outdoor foot wear and clothing required, dogs are welcome on a short lead.
