"A wonderful place to stay in Ilfracombe. Lorraine and Adrian were excellent hosts and very welcoming. My room and ensuite were great, with a view down over the town and towards the sea. Spotlessly clean. There is a new terrace area for seating outside and they have retained the Honesty Bar downstairs with a range of beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks. "I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village."

"Beautiful property, room, service, and a magical view over the charming village of Lynton and the Bristol Channel. Breakfast was amazing. Park your car up at the property and don’t drive the rest of the time. Walk down to village for great restaurants and shops (and up again to return…yes it’s a steep hill, but a lovely walk). Valley of Rocks/coastal path is 15 min walk. Walk down to Lynmouth, take cliff railway back up. This was our favorite stay on our trip through Devon and Cornwall."

"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish.
