This house on undiscovered Hills Beach fronts directly on Saco Bay and its short catwalk through the sea grasses leads to a private child-friendly beach. Directly behind the house stretches the Back Bay which means that every window in the house has a water view.

Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are commonplace but rarely less than stunning. This is a place where the rhythm of the day is determined not by the clock but by the tides. When the tide is in break out the binoculars to scan the array of picturesque islands one with a working lighthouse one a bird sanctuary with a mysterious tower another with a cluster of rustic cottages. Lobstermen come and go and sailboats bob prettily at their moorings at Biddeford Pool. The odd pleasure boat kayaker wind surfer or paddleboarder happens by but there is never noise never a crowd.

At low tide the binoculars come in equally handy. Gone is the seascape of hours before replaced by lots of extensive stretches of sand usually a scarce commodity in Maine.
