I HIGHLY recommend this spot. The private beach was my favorite part. We did paddle boarding and kayaking, even though the weather was a bit chillier than we would have liked, but it didn’t stop us! The house itself is very clean and well kept. The bed upstairs was great, along with the pillows. Everything we needed was already there. Meg was very great at communicating and she was a pleasure to work with. My husband and have been raving about this place. We will be back for sure!!! What a great, relaxing and adventurous weekend! Thank you again Meg!!

The house has so much character! I felt at home. The goodie bag that the host provided was a fantastic bonus! It was in the low 70s when we visited but my kids did not care. They swam, we kayaked, we even rented a boat from the Marina down the road. Thank you Meg!

We had the best 3 days/3 nights at the lake! The deck and beach area were perfect. Our kids loved playing off the dock and in the sand. We enjoyed the kayaks too. The house is complete with all the necessities. The kitchen was stocked well and the living space was enough for our family of five to relax comfortably. We enjoyed sunsets and sunrises from the front deck. The only concern we had were cars driving fast down the road directly in front of the house. 5/5 stay!

The property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful view and great sandy beach. Loved the kayaks and stand up paddle boards! Meg had some nice personal touches that made the experience top notch.

This adorable cottage on Crystal Lake provided us with a wonderful week vacation. The beach at the property provides hours of endless fun with kayaks, paddle boards, ample lounging and eating areas. Shade and sun are available. The views from the house, deck, and beach are truly amazing. The kitchen, living, bedrooms, and bath were all super clean and equipped for anything you would need. We ate every meal outside to enjoy the stunning Crystal Lake views. If you explore the area you will find wonderful places to bike, hike and beach enjoying the outdoors. The Betsie River Trail, Empire Bluff Trail, and Point Betsie Lighthouse are just a couple of the spots we enjoyed immensely. Meg the host communicated well with us and took extra care to make sure our stay was great. The little details for comfort and charm are definitely there with this cute little cottage. We love this area and this cottage. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.

Nice house. The beach area had everything you need. Kitchen had everything needed. Like the property description says it is a small kitchen There was spices, sugar, coffee filters etc.. Had a wedding the day of check in, we noticed day before was empty. We asked if we could check in early to get ready. Owner let us check in early was much appreciated. Owner responded very quickly.

Very unique home! Awesome views of the lake from the house deck. House had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. Spiral stairs were a challenge to navigate with luggage and groceries.

We spent the long Memorial Day weekend here and it was beyond our wildest expectations. The beach area was cozy and kept the kids entertained all day. The house was so comfortable, from the large windows and balcony to the spiral staircase. We spent the one chilly overcast day exploring the dunes and nearby towns. Driving through the tree lined roads was so much fun. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer!

Excellent location was so peaceful and very quiet. Beach And water area perfect for any age we had a 2 yr old with us water shallow at the edge and plenty of sand to play in. Owners have thought of everything you could need . Property was extremely clean and well organized. Very relaxing get away . If we get up in that area again we will definitely stay again. Also owner responds very quickly. Thanks had a great time......

We stayed here with our 2 small children and had a blast. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Meg was available to help us and easy to communicate with. We love architecture and appreciated the unique style of the cabin. We had a blast at the private beach and had fun using the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. We also enjoyed how close the property was to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Frankfort. Looking forward to hopefully staying again.

This location is the perfect to check out the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan, but also great for relaxation and play on Crystal Lake. The home had everything needed, and a wonderful view of the lake. Kayaks and sand toys were a huge plus!

Unique home on quite road with private beech and dock. Host was very accommodating and communicative. Home was cozy, clean, and has a great lake view from the balcony patio. Kitchen, laundry, were stocked with supplies, plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. Lots of seating on the beach. Beach is stocked with plenty of chairs, toys, kayaks, and canoe. Short drive to national parks, amazing hikes and views. Highly recommend Frankfort for meals and shopping. In sum, our family enjoys off-season, no fuss, no crowds, type of vacations. The area was perfect as was our host and their property

Cozy house with amazing private beach, dock, and gazebo across the street. Sitting on the dock in the morning was incredibly peaceful. The water was shallow enough my 4yr old could play in it. There were lots of things already there like kayaks, beach toys for kiddos, board games inside - it made it easy to stay occupied. Location is close to Sleepy Bear dunes and Frankfort for dinners. Loved our stay!

We loved everything about this stay. First and foremost this beach is phenomenal and Crystal Lake is stunning. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable place to relax after being on the lake! They have thought of everything and the little details make a world of difference. We have visited several homes on these travel sites and this was by far the cleanest! Loved everything about it and hope to be back soon!

Had an amazing week at this cottage. Everything about the property was amazing - layout, amenities, location, host. Couldn’t have asked for a better host (who even texted to check on us when she got severe weather alerts!). Would come back in a heartbeat.
