Wonderful experience

Immaculately clean house. Pleasantly surprised by a couple of portable a/c units! Bedrooms were spacious. Bathrooms clean and more than adequate! A couple of very minor suggestions. A couple of boxes of tissues would be welcomed as would directions for how to use the tv remotes. The gas grill needs to be started with a match and the stove dials are on backwards and we couldn’t figure out how to fix them! When we an issues with some electrical outlets, a repair was made in less than an hour of reporting it.

Early season ski trip

Our family (2 adults, 1 teenager) stayed here for a quick 2-day ski trip to Sunday River. The house was beautiful, just as pictured! Bigger than we needed, but spacious and comfortable, and great for the dog, inside and out. Easy trip to Bethel for takeout meals, 15 min to Sunday River. Secluded, woodsy yard, but not far off main road so easy trip in snowy weather. Wish we could have stayed longer! Absolutely recommend and would return with family and friends!

The location was quiet and private. The house was spacious and well maintained. We have mostly positive review of the house and manager however a couple negatives were: only half of the grill burners worked in the outside grill, we had to sweep the floor as there were chips and dog hair all over the

So many problems

To anyone thinking of renting this property: please read. This place online looked beautiful in photos. In real life it is rundown and not taken care of. I would also not recommend this house for anyone with small children (no railing on some outdoor stairs and balcony). The house was not clean, many of the doors on the first and second level did not lock, and there was a major leak coming from the ceiling in the kitchen. The house was not properly cleaned, the couch is disgusting, most of the dining room chairs are very broken, and the linens/towels are stained. Customer service was terrible and management ignored requests to fix leak, clean apartment and fix the doors so that they would lock. No refund would be granted by vacasa and Vrbo wouldn’t do anything because the property was managed by vacasa. Staying here ruined my vacation and trying to work with vacasa to get any sort of compensation for the problems experienced was impossible.

Maine Vacation

Great house! We went Kayaking down the river on Wednesday! Great experience! Bethel Outdoor Adventure was an awesome experience! We also enjoyed biking and sightseeing! Modern Barn was a great place to eat and so was the brewery in Sunday River. We also enjoyed going to Portland Maine for a day. Overall experience was great and the house was clean and plenty of rooom for 6 adults.

Everything we could have asked for

The property is exactly as pictured in the photos. We were celebrating a family birthday with three generations and our dog! So nice to find a place that allows for such a gathering with plenty of space. Also fun to spend time in a modern venue such as this, loved all of the windows and saw some pretty nice sunsets!

Great ski house

Great place for a ski weekend with the family. Love the open concept upstairs for being together and all of the bedrooms downstairs for nighttime. Everything is well appointed, house is clean, check-in and dealings with the property management company all convenient. Also, we got the bring the dogs!

Modern House

This is a super modern house, that is minimalist in design. The beds are comfortable, good linens, and nice kitchen. The town 5 miles away is charming. The neighborhood the house is in, is okay.. but anywhere you drive close to there is beautiful. We did have a big leak during our stay - and had to deal with this on our vacation. apparently this has happened before in this home. The person who dealt with it was fast, professional and efficient, so that was good.

Great Escape

Our family of five (18,14,13) enjoyed a stay at the home in March 2020 in the very early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak. We canceled an international trip and were looking for somewhere to hang out for a few days. Luckily we found this house which ended up being just perfect. The photos do a great job conveying the beauty of this modern home. Besides walks and runs we stayed inside the house for four straight days comfortable while enjoying the open spaces and the incredible amount of light. Quiet, close to skiing, clean and comfortable. Two thumbs up.
