Great views, close to ocean, good communication
This was a great location! Enjoyed bay views while close to the ocean. Even watched dolphins from the balcony! Can take a long walk or drive a very short distance to guarded beach (parking is reasonable at $10/day for out-of-state and $5/day in-state). Especially appreciated a table large enough for family meals together. Easy access to restaurants in Bethany, Dewey, and Rehoboth. If you do have a full house, might want a larger coffee pot (5 cup provided), a large pasta pot, and a pitcher for tea, lemonade, etc. Plenty of plates and silverware for all. Appreciated the starter supply of paper products, kitchen sponge, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, and extra pillows. Be prepared for lots of steps as all rooms alternate going up half-levels. The kitchen and LR/DR are up 5 half-levels. Of course, you need the height for the views! Wifi for the main TV was spotty at best; consider bringing an HDMI cord to connect via computer or PlayStation. No mold (see previous reviews). The washer and dryer were replaced during our stay. (The dryer vents to an inside vent kit. May need to check directions on using that if any issues as many of these have water level requirements to work. Hope they change that as there does seem to be an opening in the wall for venting as code would require for new construction.). Vacasa was very responsive when we called; they even called BEFORE we arrived to let us know the new W/D was being delivered during our stay.
