Very nice location. Kids had space roam and ride thier bikes. Had a smell of a dead animal but I notified the help chat. It wasn't that bad but just wanted to let them know about before the next guest arrived. Also had an issue with the internet going out but someone came and fixed that. Even though the weather didnt corporate it was still a good vacation.

Beach getaway

We enjoyed our stay with some exceptions. The place was close to the beach and in a nice neighborhood. We went to the beach everyday and could take the trolley in for free which is really convenient. The second day we were there we found a mouse and our downstairs bathroom was infested with ants. We contacted Vacasa who was terrible with communication. They stated they would send out pest control the following day but I said we didn’t want someone in our home without one of us being there so if they could give us a call so we could communicate a time or if we could call them but they said they didn’t have a number which is strange. They stated they will call upon arrival which I didn’t want to have to come back from the beach so to just said to forget it. The following day a guy showed up to our place to spray for the ants and set a trap down for the mouse after we already stated we didn’t want anyone showing up- luckily we were home and he didn’t just enter without us there. After he sprayed the ants came back again and we ended up throwing out our toothbrushes because they were all over them. I understand that sometimes that just happens and overall we enjoyed our stay but the very poor communication on Vacasa’s end made it frustrating at times. They still have not gotten back about any part of a refund from a result of the issues stated and poor communication.

Tired beach house

This is a very dated beach house. The downstairs is functional, but needs some furniture upgrades. The upstairs feels like an attic due to how musty it was. I could not stay upstairs because the musty nature triggered my allergies (and I rarely have these sorts of issues). The owners of the property need to upgrade the HVAC system, remove the old carpet and paint the walls. I just want to make sure future renters stay here with a full understanding of the accommodations. This is a great location and has such great potential with a bit more TLC of the property.

Good location, nice layout, needs improvements and more thorough cleaning

Overall the house and neighborhood were nice. The cleaning is lacking. There was visible mold, spider webs and dust in multiple places inside…we’re not particularly fussy about things but it was significant. The pullout bed had debris in it. We had spiders in the beds and ants in the kitchen and on the porch. On a positive note, the proximity to the trolley was great and the house would otherwise suit our needs for our family including a bunch of kids to get together.

Enjoyable. Everyone liked the home and accessibility to Bethany Beach's shoreline and vendors. The livingroom furniture (sofa) and upstaairs carpets were reported before to you as being filthy, and have remain so. We had put blankets on the sofa to sit. This really needs to be addressed!!!!!

Perfect getaway

We loved how the home was nestled away in a wooded area. We enjoyed the wrap around porch and screened in area. The family and eating area was able to accommodate all of us. There was plenty of sleeping options for the family and children. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing.

Given that cleaning is now a life-sickness issue, we were discouraged to find food from previous occupants under living room chair. Did not make us secure about the extra cleaning level promised. Additionally, at check-in: one agent was wearing mask under nose and NONE were wearing gloves—contrary to the written communications we were given. We dealt with ants in the kitchen the entire week, even using spray and ant traps. We were glad to see the water dispenser worked (contrary to write-up) and that there were 3 twins in a room (only 2 in list in write-up)

Ok

The property was ok. It could use a little updating. The upstairs bathroom shower is very small. You can't check in till 4 and then you have to stand in line. It moved pretty fast but I'll be honest I was mad because they don't tell you that's how it's going to be. I calmed down but the rental company should warn you that's how it's going to be. After driving all day seeing a line 30-50 ppl deep is not fun.

Family vacation

Overall it is a fairly nice place.Temperature was a little on the warmer side as the air conditioner needed repair.We really enjoyed the very large porch.Rooms were a o.k.Happy that there was a laundry room with washer and dryer.One son brought his own cooking grill to use on the porch keeping the kitchen cooler. The bedrooms were o.k. glad there was 2 on the first floor. It would be nice if yoube one put in on yje side of he porch. could put another bathroom in. MayAlso that there was plenty of places to go shopping. Had a great time staying there. The only complaint ts that the outside really needs a lot of work to make it nicer. The lawn needs a lot of raking to remove all the dead branches.Would recomed it to others. Thanks for a great vacation.
