A Charming Beach Condo 3rd House from the Ocean

  • This charming 2 bedroom condo is only steps from the beach. Enjoy relaxing on the covered deck or take a stroll on the private beach. This 2 bedroom condo (known by beachgoers as the Green Dolphin) is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It is in a quaint community located in a building shared by only 3 other units. The full kitchen is bright and airy and the family room is spacious and cozy with a full-size pull out sofa bed and comfy chairs to relax in. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a trundle bunk bed.

    The covered balcony is perfect for enjoying a family meal or just relaxing. It has a table, chairs and a beach view. There is also an outside shower and a separate footwash. Parking is available under the unit for one car and there is room in the driveway for another car. Mike's Fish Camp is a restaurant at the end of the street (very convenient) -it serves lunch and dinner.

    The Green Dolphin is only three houses from the beach which provides a convenient and quick access to the private beach. Its great location offers quick access to downtown Bethany, Rehoboth, Dewey or Ocean City. It is close enough to access all of the excitement but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet.

    There is a State Beach located adjacent to our beach which allows vehicles to drive on the beach and also allows fishing right from the beach. There are tons of activties for adults and kids just a few minutes away.

    There are several grocery stores located with a 5-10 miles and don't forget all of the fabulous outlet shopping available in Rehobeth and the cute beach shops near the Bethany Boardwalk!

    Bethany Beach is a very quiet beach community with a quaint downtown and a family atmosphere. Our community at Tower Shores offers all the ammenities of the beach towns but also a private beach and great location.

    If you really want your vacation to be perfect, with a great location, friendly neighbors and a comfortable laid-back atmosphere, stay at the Green Dolphin.

Great Getaway

We have been staying here for many years now and it is always a wonderful time. Nothing beats being able to walk less than 5 minutes and have your feet in the sand! The neighborhood is quiet and the house has everything you could need. Thank you again for your hospitality and hope to return soon!

Annual beach trip

We always enjoy staying at this condo. It is a family-friendly community and the place is great for our family. We have been going to this place for 3 years and hope to be back for many more!

We'd happily return to this apartment! The location (if what you want is to be extremely close to the ocean) is hard to beat, and the porch area is incredible--we were out there for hours each day. It's a very short drive to groceries and the heard of Bethany, and a wide range of other stuff is very accessible. Owner was very responsive to our messages (not that we had any major issues to deal with during our stay).

Erin is super easy to work with and responds quickly. The unit is clean and has all the amenities you would need for a vacation. Super close to the beach. We used the porch a lot along since it had a nice breeze as well as the large outdoor shower. We plan to return!

Still the best vacation

Location, location, location!

Nice unit in 4 Plex, very close to beach access. Most appropriate for 2 adults and 1-2 kids. Outside deck area really nice way to expand floor soace

Can’t be beat!

Perfect spot to stay with 2 younger kids - 1 minute walk to the private, less crowded beach which allowed us to easily leave for lunch or snacks back at the house without having to pack everything up - quiet neighborhood but still only a short drive to both boardwalks. Easy communication with the host and a clean, comfortable place with a great outdoor deck for cocktails at night. We will definitely be back!

Just what we needed

Thank you for a wonderful week. We love the Tower Shores private beach community-much quieter than in town and so convenient to walk back to the house if we needed a break or grab lunch. We spent most of our days at the beach with excursions into Bethany and Rehoboth and the outlets. All an easy drive away. We loved having meals or hanging out on the deck. The condo had everything we needed. We hope to be back! Thank you again!

Perfect week!

The house was exactly as described in the listing! We would definitely stay here again. Since the house is on the smaller side for our 4 adults, we used the outside porch quite a bit for eating and hanging out (there was a nice breeze) and took full advantage of the outside showers. This seemed to make the house feel more spacious and we weren't on top of each other. We spent most of the time at the beach which was a super quick walk away. Erin was great to work with and prompt in responding to questions.

Great host communication

I had to give 4 stars on cleanliness only because the cleaning crew did not do a good job preparing the place for new guests, beds were not made and blankets and pillows were piled in the closet clearly used and not folded or ready, floors were not cleaned and counters had some food stuck to them as well. We communicated with the host and she immediately gave us access to some cleaning supplies and was very responsive through the whole start of our trip. After that it was all good. The apartment is so nicely set up, the porch furniture was comfortable and it is so close to the beach. Overall a 5 star experience with a slight blip for the cleanliness. Would stay there again though.

Great location - nice beach stay

The kitchen has been completely updated and is wonderfully supplied for a beach rental. The porch is great, functioning as an al fresco living and eating area. The only other place to eat is at the very small kitchen counter so only holds 4 people, tightly. The bunk bed in the second bedroom may be meant for children apparently and the upper bunk is very difficult for an average adult to get into safely. Lower bunk, no problem. Bathroom is older and the cleaning required some touch ups by us before it met comfort levels. Overall, very nice place for groups of 4 or fewer. Location outstanding.
