"Das haus liegt sehr ruhig auf einem Bauernhof. So richtige ländliche idylle kommt aufgrund des steinbruchs direkt neben dem bauernhof aber nicht auf. Die lage ist sehr isoliert und zum nächsten supermarkt ist es schon ein Stück. Dafür hat man die meiste Zeit seine ruhe. Das haus war sauber geputzt. Nur der staubsauger, um selber zwischendrin mal sauber zu machen roch sehr muffelig und der staubbeutel war voll. Der ofen und der herd funktionieren mit gas. Bei uns hat der zünder nicht...

"The log cabin was cosy and comfortable. Everything we required was there and fresh flowers and shortbread a lovely welcoming touch. The peaceful location was wonderful, deer, ducks, fish dragonflies at the pond yet shops were just a few minutes drive away. Ideal spot for walking or just relaxing on the verandah."

"Everything was set on arrival. We had a nice stay in a very quiet neighbourhood. Maybe a bit to far if you would not have a car. The house could already do with an update. Especially the kitchen, or rather the equipment. The frying pan for example was really in a horrible state. Some people might like the electricity meter, but I found it a bit creepy, as if we were watched... Another item that clearly needs a change is the mattress. It was way to soft and we could feel the bottom of the bed....

"I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future."

"Lovely place could move into it and be super happy, only downside was although it states dog friendly it's not secure as the fencing around which leads straight onto the sheep fields is easy to get into, also near the hottun they can jump into the road and also under the gate, if this could fixed I would definitely come back again with them, apart from making it more secure and safe for the dog and sheep around it was a lovely place to stay"
