"We enjoyed our one night there. The host was quick to respond to texted questions. The train across the street did not disturb our sleep. There were a lot of dvds to choose from for the evening entertainment. The hosts sent a detailed set of instructions which made finding and using the house easy. "

"Absolutely loved our stay in Andrea’s pod. From the get-go, communication was established and Andrea helped ensure we arrived at the pod quickly with clear directions. The building itself is amazing and the attention to detail is notable! Perfect for a couple. The various farm animals truly made the stay exceptional and we both wouldn’t hesitate to come back. "Fisherman's Rest was exactly what we were hoping for. We needed somewhere to stay in Helmsdale while we waited to get the keys to our new property, and needed it to have internet speed fast enough that my husband (a programmer) could work. This comfortable cottage had everything we needed! The kitchen was well-equipped, and meant we didn't have to eat out 3 meals a day. (Which gets old, really quickly for me.) The bed was comfortable, as is the furniture in the living room. "
