Escape to Cardinal Cottage, a cozy waterfront retreat tucked into a quiet, secluded bay on beautiful Oneida Lake. With direct lake access, spectacular sunsets, and plenty of ways to enjoy the water, it's an inviting getaway for couples, small families, or up to four guests looking to relax and recharge.

Lakefront Living

Step outside and enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and boating right from the property. A 100-foot aluminum dock extends into the lake, and guests are welcome to bring one boat.

Smaller boats may tie up at the dock, where the water is approximately two feet deep. A mooring farther offshore offers approximately four feet of water. A small boat launch is also available on the property.

For easy days on the lake, guests have use of an on-site kayak and peddle boat.

After a day on the water, settle in for one of Oneida Lake's beautiful sunsets. The lakeside deck features dining for four with an umbrella, along with lounge chairs for relaxing by the water.

Outdoor amenities also include a 36-inch propane Blackstone griddle and a portable fish-cleaning table.

Inside the Cottage

Cardinal Cottage is thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable lake stay and sleeps up to four guests.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed

Bedroom 2: Twin bunk beds plus a sit/stand desk overlooking the lake—an especially nice spot for remote work

Quality bed linens are provided.

The well-stocked kitchen has counter seating for three and includes a Keurig, blender, Crock-Pot, electric stove and oven, refrigerator/freezer, and the kitchen essentials you'll need during your stay.

Guests also have exclusive use of the enclosed wooden gazebo and deck on the adjacent property—it is not shared with neighbors.

Surrounded by beautiful lake views, the gazebo includes a queen sleeper futon and offers another peaceful place to read, relax, enjoy a drink, or simply watch the lake. Outdoor lounge chairs are provided on the gazebo deck.

Parking & Boat Trailer

Parking is available for a maximum of two vehicles in the driveway. One small boat trailer may be parked on the adjacent lawn.

To ensure Cardinal Cottage is a good fit for your stay, please note:

Maximum occupancy is four people at all times, including daytime visitors, due to the property's septic system.

No pets are permitted, without exception.

Tents and additional overnight accommodations may not be set up in the yard.
