From beginning to checkout this was one of our favorite stays. The hosts were great at communications, the place was immaculate and the facilities were quality. Toni the onsight contact was great.You could travel the metro so easily and they supplied the access!Walked to an amazing new restaurant at the corner, Dimelo Contando, its Italian, Cuban and Venezuela, service great and a lively pkace with great food and service.

Wonderfully convenient and comfortable apartment. We immediately felt at home. Everything we needed was provided. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable. Location couldn't have been better. We fell in love with the #6 tram. Eating dinner on the balcony with a view of the Alps in the distance is quite an experience. Just about the nicest rental we've ever stayed in. Definitely worth every penny.

Bern Loft Apartment

We loved our month long stay in this apartment. We had great communication with Paolo and Franziska and they provided an extremely well equipped and comfortable home for our Switzerland vacation. Highly recommended.

Just perfect.

Apartment had everything we needed and more. We found public transport v frequent=A1. We found the washing machine a challenge as we could not read German, but we overcame this. All in all the accomodation exceeded any expectations we may have had.

Genießen über den Dächern von Bern

Bei Sommerwetter konnten wir die Terasse mit direktem Blick auf die Dächer von Bern + in die Berge genießen. Es war ein idealer Startpunkt für die Familie zu Ausflügen in die Stadt und zu Wanderungen. Auch die Lage im Quartier hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung war so gut ausgestattet, dass eine genauere Beschreibung des Inventares uns hätteim Vorfeld einiges an Gepäck erspart hätte. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen oder weiterempfehlen! Danke für eine gute Zeit!

Traumwohnung

wir waren 2 Wochen im Oktober 23 in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, im Gegenteil, alles und noch mehr war vorhanden, von kompletter Media bis hin zum Drucker, von kompletter Küchenausstattung bis zum Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine. Die Wohnung erreicht man mit dem Aufzug (Direktzugang) und findet eine schicke Wohnung mit Balkon und Blick in die Berge. Fußbodenheizung, Holzboden und ein modernes Designerbad runden das Bild ab. Herzliche Gastfreundschaft verbunden mit Schweizer Präzision und einem immer hilfsbereiten Hausmeister machen den Aufenthalt zum Erlebnis. Hinzu kommen Bus und Tram, die 50 m entfernt sind und deren Ticket im Wohnungspreis inkludiert sind. Innerhalb weniger Stationen ist man mitten in der Stadt. Auch ein Lebensmittelmarkt und Bioladen sind nebenan. Auto ist überflüssig, kann aber auf Wunsch in einer TG parkiert werden. Fazit. sehr zu empfehlen, werde jederzeit wieder mieten, wenn ich in Bern bin. Günter

Everything you could possibly need and more!

We loved "our little flat" in Bern. In fact one of our favorite memories was eating dinner in and drinking aperol spritz on the balcony. The location was perfect for us as we wanted a little quiet but with easy access to the city. The place was equipped with everything you could possibly imagine that you'd need and more. They even had a mini-fondue set. It was so clean and decorated so adorable. Paolo was always very responsive and included perfect instructions for everything. They were also very flexible as we didn't know if our older daughter was going to join us until the last minute. There was easily space for all 4 of us and they were so accommodating. We had a car so the parking garage option was great for us, but we also used the Libero pass to see the city. We highly recommend this place! Loved everything about it.

Great renovated apartment

What a wonderful stay. Fantastic location, just 10 min by tram to the city centre and the tram station is a 3 minute walk away. Apartment is well appointed and spotless. The cleanest unit i have ever stayed in. The unit is bright and airy with 7 skylights a large sliding glass door and large window. Beds are super comfortable and bath room was well laid out and large. Elevator takes you right to your unit and on a clear day you can see mountains in the distance. Communication with property manager and owner was great. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Apartment

The place is better than the pictures. We were impressed with everything. From the moment we arrived in Bern the communication was excellent. The directions on how to go to the apartment from the train station was perfect. The apartment is close to a grocery store where we stocked up on food for the week. The kitchen was beautiful and clean plus very modern. The bathroom is fantastic and has plenty of space to move around. The work station came in handy as well. They have air conditioning but we opened the windows and did not need the air at all. We had dinner a couple of nights on the balcony. This place is great and highly recommend it. Oh I also forgot that the laundry room downstairs was great as well.

Amazing place that has literally EVERYTHING you need….and I mean EVERYTHING!!! The hosts are super nice and were available via text or call. They also had an on-site helper Tony who showed us how to use the laundry facility. The shower was spacious and comfortable, so was the Queen size bed (plenty of extra towels and pillows). Kitchen has everything to cook a meal (even fondue and sushi roll making device). The pantry cubby has all condiments including salt/pepper/sugar/oil/tea/coffee pods and more. We loved this place so much! Our friends will book it next year when they come to explore Bern and Switzerland :) Thank you so much Franziska and Paolo! P.S. We found bus #17 to be the closest and best way to get in and out of Bern Banhoff train station ( the bus stop is to the right across the street from the glass covered tram area you see when coming up the escalators). We also loved the pizza place A’Amico (Loryplatz) and the amazing coffee at Bäckerei Hirschi on Mattenhofstrasse 41

Great flat in a great location.

We spent four days and three nights in Bern and were so happy to have chosen this flat as our home base. Everything was as advertised. Easy self-checkin, communication with Franziska was excellent. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds/pillows, nicely furnished. The light and outside space were especially nice. Conveniently located (1/2 block) to tram and/or bus stop for a 7 minute ride to the train station. Franziska also set us up with a free local travel pass for the days we were in Bern. The neighborhood was quiet and there is a small market within the block. Checked all of the boxes! Thank you.

Beautiful renovated modern loft

I spent 5 nights at this beautiful loft apartment. Communication with the host was easy and the apartment was modern with many amenities including an elevator that opens directly into the apartment, high end kitchen with oven and dishwasher, nespresso machine with capsules, renovated bathroom with heated floors, extra blankets, and best of all a parking space in a garage a block away at a reasonable rate. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place!

My parents and I had such a great stay at Franziska and Paolo's place in Bern. The location was perfect with easy access to busses which took us to downtown Bern in about 10 minutes! Public transportation was included in our stay which in itself added so much value to the property. The apartment was very clean and well stocked and we did not want for anything. Toni the local host was so kind and friendly and available and everything from booking to checking in and checking out was effortless. I could go on and on about the perks and how wonderful this place is. I will return with my husband to Bern at some point in the future and we will definitely stay again at Franziska and Paolo's place if it is available and they will have us. Thank you so much for everything!
