Dear MichaelWe are sorry to hear you had such a bad experience in our hotel. While our hotel has a lift, due to the nature of such an old building (built in the 16th century), there are two rooms which are reached by climbing a few stairs. We never assign these room to guests requesting rooms without stairs and our team are always happy to help guests with their luggage on request. We have not experienced any issues with any fuses either in the rooms you were staying in nor any other either before or after the day you were due to stay. Our team does leave overnight and we do not communicate anywhere that we have a 24-hour reception, although we do have 24-hour phone assistance for questions or emergencies. Similarly, we do not advertise on any platform that we have air conditioning and could unfortunately do little about the extremely hot temperatures we experienced this summer. We provide fans in every rooms. All members of our team would have been happy to provide assistance, but we are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the help given. We hope you were happy with the alternative accommodation that you found.

Nous avons des chambres avec baignoire que vous pouvez sélectionner lors de la réservation sur la plupart des sites. Je suis désolé que vous n'ayez pas été satisfait du prix du petit-déjeuner. Il est important pour nous d'utiliser des produits de haute qualité, si possible de la région. Il est également important pour nous d'offrir à nos hôtes du café frais de toutes sortes (par exemple, cappuccino, latte macchiatto) au lieu de proposer du café filtre ou de mettre à disposition une machine en libre-service. Tout cela a un prix. En outre, le prix se situe dans le segment inférieur par rapport aux autres hôtels de Berne.
