Estupenda estancia!!
El ático está en una zona maravillosa, la estancia es súper confortable, fui con mi hijo adolescente de 16 años, está a un minuto de la estación de metro, enfrente hay una hamburguesería maravillosa para alguna comida rápida. La comunicación con el propietario ha sido maravillosa, y he de agradecerle que nos permitiera estar en la estancia hasta la tarde ya que nuestro vuelo era a las 19. Totalmente recomendable. Gracias. Muy bien situado pero muy poco confortable
Lo mejor del apartamento es, sin duda, que te permite ir andando a varios sitios turísticos (Puerta de Brandenburgo o Memorial del Holocausto en 25 minutos o menos). La zona está llena de supermercados, comercios y hasta tiendas de recuerdos por su proximidad con Checkpoint Charlie. Es lo mejor. El problema principal es la falta de equipamientos. Había un mueble en la cocina con cinta americana y que no se podia abrir. No había ni un trapo de cocina, ni un rollo de papel higiénico o cosas mínimas para nada más llegar. La cafetera tardaba más de 40 minutos en hacer café. Fuimos una familia de 2 adultos y 2 niños y nos facilitaron sólo dos juegos de toallas completos. El resto, muchas toallas pequeñas. El agua de la ducha se sale porque la mampara no cubre bien y el baño acaba lleno de agua hagas lo que hagas. No había fregona, sólo un utensilio similar, que estaba roto. Una de las únicas dos cazuelas que había, no funcionaba en la vitrocerámica. La sartén, necesita ser cambiada. Era muy dificil cocinar en ella porque se pegaba todo. El sofá cama es de esos de Ikea pero ya muy usado, nada cómodo y de los que hacen ruido en cuanto te mueves. No lo recomendaría

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Die Wohnung ist allerdings ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen! Wir waren zu dritt, dafür ist die Wohnung entschieden zu klein! Optimal für ein Paar.

Great stay
Erik was very helpful & communication was excellent. Apartment had a good sized verandah with a great view. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere and saw so much. Berlin is a beautiful city.

Check Point Charlie Pros and Cons
Pros. Right next to Check Point Charlie, great coffee and restaurants in the area, close to numerous public transit options (bus, subway etc), really safe keycard access (door and elevator) building on a quiet street, great communication and easy check-in. We had a few issues but they were quickly and professionally dealt with. Everything in the apartment as advertised - appliances, etc. Cons - while all as advertised, the apartment has seen better days. The shower riser was broken and the heads almost totally calcified, the chairs and sofa were very uncomfortable (but we didn’t really come to Berlin to hang out in the apartment), the wood floor is trashed (the uncomfortable sofa becomes a reasonably comfortable bed) and it wasn’t super clean. However the price and location were pretty good, and other than the shower and the tortuous seating we were mostly pleased.

Perfect place
Loved this cute apartment. It’s one block from Checkpoint Charlie, museums and restaurants. Check in and communication with the owners could not have been easier. Would love to come back and stay again as we would love more time in this beautiful, vibrant city. We recommend a lovely restaurant down the block Veli’s Restaurant. Very good variety of food including German. We enjoyed everything we ate there. When we come back we would love to stay here again.

Great Place
Location worked well for getting around, either on foot or by taxi/Uber/Bolt. Apartment had the necessities that I needed. They had a snafu when I arrived in that the unit hadn't yet been cleaned. It was promptly cleaned. I just ran to the grocery store while it was being cleaned. When you enter, the lock is a little tricky. Be sure and try it while Eric is there. I thought I was going to be sleeping in the hallway the first night but a neighbor kindly helped me. After that, I got the hang of it.

Wonderful Apartment with great view
Truly enjoyed the apartment. It is spacious, clean, and has an outdoor deck with a great view from the top floor of a well maintained and secure building. Around the corner from Checkpoint Charlie and near all other attractions, as well as many shops and restaurants. The only suggestions to make it even better would be a more comfortable couch and perhaps a smart TV.

Great location for 4 nights in Berlin
Property was ideal for a couple's long weekend in Berlin with convenient access to historical sites. Nearby Italian and Vietnamese restaurants were excellent and grocery store close by for supplies. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening given the very warm, but dry, September weather during our stay.

A wonderful apartment with lovely balcony & view over Mitte area. Ubahn right close by & easy walking to reach tourist spots. Plus have to recommend French restaurant Entrecôte directly across the road. For a special meal ‘way to go’.

Great Location and Safe, Clean Building
Erik and Allesandro are very responsive. Our flight arrived a bit late and' Erik waited for us in the apartment. We are so sorry that we did not have exact change for the tax. Erik spotted us 1 euro, thank you Erik. Please ensure you have exact change to provide on check in for the city tax so Erik doesn't have to spot you too, lol. Also, if there is an issue with the toilet flushing, check the water knobs on the left side of the shower. We did not touch them, but had this issue, and the owner quickly sent a very nice repairman to rectify the situation. Washer, dishwasher, and microwave were easy to figure out their use, and there was even a drying rack, which I like, since I seldom dry my clothes in the dryer. Recommend throwing out your recycle before you are ready to check out, so you know where the area in the garage is, before you are rushed if trying to catch transportation, etc. We called a taxi to take us to the train station and the taxi was there in less than five minutes. Note that there is Lidl store only a few blocks away, which is very inexpensive for all your needs. The coffee maker that was there when we visited in March 2023 was a normal, #4 cone-shaped filter maker, which I prefer to K Kups or Nespresso cups. The fold out futon in the living room is pretty comfortable, so no worries if you are not a couple and not sharing the bed. There is a nice little Italian restaurant around the corner (make a left out of the building and then the next left)

appartement très bien situé et clair, très agréable
La pièce principale est dégagée, la cuisine est bien équipée, la literie confortable. Notre hôte et charmante et répond bien. Au 7ème étage, appartement très clair avec vue sur les immeubles voisins et balcon. 2 stations de métro à côté. Très pratique.

herr klaus hat uns den schlüssel pünktlich übergeben. ACHTUNG es gibt nur EINEN Schlüssel da man zum Verlassen des Hauses auch einen braucht ist die Organisation beachtlich. die Vorhänge waren nicht ordentlich fixiert die Töpfe befinden sich unterm Herd. u- bahnstation Stadtmitte ums Eck. Dom, ... alles fußläufig erreichbar. Der Wohnungsbetreuerer ist gut erreichbar.

Great location, bright airy comfortable pad.
Just me and my son - I got the double bed he the pull down. Both comfortable. Loved balcony and big windows. Even in November we had no need of heating and windows ajar at night. Mostly ate out but all the facilities needed to dine in are there. Two gripes - a giant pair of speakers in the photos have no associated sound source of any kind. The other gripe is a ‘tired’ level of wear and tear on cupboards, the shower head holder and well worn floor at (excellent) balcony door/window. Good value but could benefit from some maintenance spend. Despite being warned we posted the key fob in the mailbox we were told, forgetting you need it to get out. Video surveillance delivered us but other residents arrived shortly as well.

Fin leilighet med veranda og utsikt. Passer fint til to personer, flere vil bli trangt. Greit bad og kjøkken. Alt kjøkkenutstyr du trenger. Sovesofaen er bra, men vanskelig å sette sammen igjen så den fungerer dårlig som sofa. Det finnes ingen komfortable stoler. Fint og sentralt område i nærheten av mange viktige minnesmerker og severdigheter. Matbutikk ikke langt unna. Mange restauranter i nærheten. Forvalteren, Erik, er veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom. Anbefales.

Wonderful host and perfect location
We were in Berlin for only a short time but enjoyed every minute of it! Definitely want to return one day to take in more of the food, drink and amazing history of this beautiful city. Our apartment was perfectly situated for sightseeing and within walking distance to many places including the Holocaust Museum. Our host provided very good communication prior to our trip and we were even able to check in a day earlier due to flight changes. Thank you, Eric (sorry if I misspell your name) for meeting us at the apartment to check in and help us get settled. Security is very good at the building entrance and also the elevator to go to the apartment floor. We highly recommend staying at this apartment if you are looking to visit Berlin!

Fantastic location in Berlin!
The best things about this apartment - fantastic location close to many sites within walking distance. (Unter den Linden, museums, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenberg Gate, Reishstag and many excellent restaurants to suit every taste_A terrific bed - great after a long day of touring. A fabulous shower! And, it is in a very safe location in a nice building. We loved sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee, too. The living room furniture is not particularly comfortable and we mostly sat outside or in bed. But, if I have to choose between a comfortable bed or a comfortable couch, I will choose the bed every time. The caretaker who let us in was responsive to all our questions and a very lovely man.

We arrived to Berlin, unfortunately we were unable to check in as the service forgot we are arriving. The apartment was dirty with disgusting used bedding from the previous guests, dirty kitchen and rubbish everywhere. It was all smelling with cigarettes and sweat. We left the apartment and stayed in a caffe waiting for the cleaner to arrive. She came about 5pm and started cleaning with an old hoover and with no mop. The apartment smelled cigarettes so badly even after cleaning we had to sleep with windows open in December. The owner didn’t want to refund us but she sent us in email after our stay, advertising her apartment in Rome. Even, if it was clean and prepared for our arrival it is not the penthouse. Is is a small basic apartment with no way you can cook there as there is no clean pans or pots. Only one small pot that fits 3 eggs. It supposed to be a penthouse for 4 people!!! No wine glasses and not enough cutlery. It spoiled our stay in Berlin unfortunately.

I do hope my future Guests will be able to read this review as what it is. This Guest forced the check-in person to check-in earlier, before the apartment was cleaned, saying that I had allowed them to go inside before check-in time. This is not true. I never allow Guests to go inside of the apartment before it is cleaned because it is not possible of course. The check-in person was in trouble with this Guest and made them check-in because he did not know how to answer to their hostility. Now they say the apartment was not clean, of course it was not clean because they wanted to check-in before the cleaning started. We perfectly knew they were arriving of course so that it is not true that the check-in person did not know that. I also sent them email with maps, info and suggestions before their arrival. About a penthouse, I really don't understand what they are talking about: the apartment is a penthouse with private terrace facing the Checkpoint Charlie so that I did not understand what they meant saying it is not a penthouse. About a refund: yes, they wanted to SAVE money from their stay and this is the reason for this review. It is a NO SMOKING APARTMENT and it is not allowed to smoke inside :) I always accept reviews as suggestions to improve our service but this is not the case. We only ask respect for the work of people.

Bright and cosy
Great property in a really nice building, with an amazing location right in the centre of Berlin. Nice and clean and really cosy: it was freezing when we visited but we hardly needed to turn the heating on, it was so warm! The balcony is lovely and you can almost see Checkpoint Charlie from it, it's a fantastic location! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Top Lage in Berlin
Wie schon in den Vorjahren wieder sehr gute Kommunikation mit Alessandra als Vermieterin und der Agentur für die Schlüsselübergabe. Auch bei der Abreise verlässlich pünktlich. Die Lage ist top und alles Wichtige und Sehenswerte zu Fuß erreichbar. Und ansonsten ist die U-Bahn direkt vor der Haustüre. Im Haus ist es ruhig und sauber, gleiches gilt für die Wohnung. Diese ist komplett ein und für 2 Leute optimal.

Great Location, Sunny and Bright Apartment
My husband and I spent a month in this Mitte apartment. The location worked out great and we were able to walk to everything (sights, museums, parks). It is close to all sorts of services and restaurants, close to Gendarmenmarkt, close to Rausch Chocolate... The apartment is on the 7th floor (with an elevator) with big windows for lots of natural light. The terrace overlooks the Checkpoint Charlie area. We had everything we needed to cook simple meals, great WiFi, comfortable bed, washing machine and big TV (although who has time to watch it). The owner was quick to respond to our questions and the management company gave us lots of good tips about the neighborhood. Thank you so much!

A great stay near Checkpoint Charlie and comfortable apartment. It was close to the Stadt Mitte train station and easy access to tourist locations. The one thing I wished there was instructions how to use the oven.

The apartment is small but is reasonable for two people. The location is fairly good. Close to Checkpoint Charlie about one mile from the major museums on museum island. We were disappointed in the furnishings because there was nowhere comfortable to sit. Just an uncomfortable futon to watch TV and hard plastic chairs for the table. Equipment for the kitchen is minimal. Zero welcoming instructions in anything but German. I had to call to get the TV to work and no instructions for other appliances. Overall, I felt the owner doesn't care about his or her guests.

Hi, I am happy you appreciated our central location exactly on the Checkpoint Charlie and the penthouse with private terrace. I am sorry you did not like the furniture that is in our images too, but please notice that chairs are not simple plastic chairs, they are design Kartell chairs, LaMarie by Philippe Starck so that really I am sorry you did not like them but I am sure that each Guest has his own taste and it is very good too. Fornthis reason images are important because Guests can choose better what they like. About tv, I am happy that we answered to you immediately about your questions and it is a good suggestion to explain Guests how to turn on tv, we did not think in that but we will of course :) My first interest is that my Guests enjoy their stay and I am happy to help, always and for all kind of questions :)

Nice modern apartment near Checkpoint Charlie
We had a very enjoyable 2 week stay in this apartment. It is on the top floor with a very nice terrace, overlooking Checkpoint Charlie. There is an elevator which was very convenient. The apartment is well equipped, and was stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower worked well. The dishwasher and washing machine also worked well. We were able to make several dinners in the kitchen, but there are also many good restaurants nearby. There is a Lidl supermarket just a few hundred meters away. We were able to use the Uber Jump bikes to go from this location to practically anywhere else in Berlin. The apartment is quite close to the StadtMidtte Metro stop which we used frequently as well. It is close to the Gendarmenmarkt, which is a very nice area. The high end shops on Friedrichstrasse are right around the corner. The Gallerie Lafayette with a very nice food court is up there. Overall, this apartment made an excellent base for discovering all that Berlin has to offer. There is a lot to see and do in Berlin, and 2 weeks was barely enough time. We had a great time here. Our host Miha met us on check-in and showed us the details of the apartment. He also met us on the way out, and even called a cab for us. Thanks Miha!
