Not what we hoped for.

Such a lovely home, its a shame that so many things have been neglected.Toilet in half bath runsAlmost every door squeaks, needing lubricatedFan in master bath toilet noisy, needs replaced. Same door only part way opens as it is improperly installed and drags floorGiven only entry code to garage - and it did not open. (Door from garage to house was locked anyway, would not have given access to house.) Contacted phone # and told them 2xs that we couldn't open from outside. I did recieve the code for front door only by calling themPics of house showed 2 different livingroom couches, one of them was stacked on the left side of the 2 car garage, effectively making the garage 1 car only, requiring one of our party to park partway in street.Doorstop for master bedroom not attached.Battery operated vacuum not charged,; no instructions.Electric vacuum barely sucks up ANYTHING! Needs replaced. Carpets were filthy.Instructions about the condition the premises should be left in are in 3 different places: Welcome book; refrigerator; and internet site. None are complete, each contain some things not mentioned in the others.No hand soap or toliet paper in 4 bathrooms.They supplied 2 rolls for 4 bathrooms.Lights in garage DO NOT WORK!Downstairs pull-out mattress worn out, has springs with no padding on top.Main floor couch cushions uncomfortable, as if filled with sand.Being required to clean/vacuum floors before vacating was never mentioned in instructions prior to arrival.

Great place for large group

Our group of 6 adults and 6 children had a terrific stay at the Hingham House. Proximity to Ocean City was excellent - 20 minute drive. The three levels allowed each of our three small groups to have our own space. Kitchen was well stocked - it had everything we needed. The Ocean Pines neighborhood is calm, quiet and peaceful which suited us well. Supermarket and a few restaurants were 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

The house we stayed in was absolutely wonderful and fit everyone nicely. The children were very comfortable with all the space. The adults were comfortable knows the children were close but everyone had more than enough space. Our only complaint was that it was so far from the beach. Other than that it was a great first experience for a family of 12 vacation.

Family vacation

It is an awesome property to stay in. The property was just as it was described. My grandkids did not want to leave. They even told their friends that their grandmother is rich. I just wish it had a backyard and that you could grill there as well. But overall I will be booking again. Thanks

A Big House with even Bigger Cleanliness Issues

I wish I had better things to say about our stay here. Unfortunately, this was one of my most disappointing rental experiences to date. We checked in on a late Friday evening, and while the check-in process was easy, we were shocked to find the property in such substandard condition. Some of the issies we found were: - couches in the main floor were covered in pet & human hair and stains - the curtain liners in every bathroom were coated in at least 6" of mold & mildew - carpets were obviously stained and filthy, as our shoes began to stick to the hardwood floor on the main level after walking on carpets - toilet seats had residue on it that we wiped clean, despite it being wrapped in a sticker that claimed it had been sanitized - comforter to the primary bedroom was covered in stains from fluid The unsanitary conditions made us uncomfortable in the house and caused us to question the cleanliness of the linens and towels provided for our use. We emailed management the next day, at the first chance, to express concerns & come to a resolution. They responded in a timely fashion, but didn't address our concerns. They assured us the property had been cleaned, despite us providing photo evidence to the contrary, offering to send a cleaning service on Monday, which was our checkout day. After my last email, we never heard back from them again. We spent time & money on our vacation to clean the property after paying a substantial cleaning fee upon booking. Disappointing stay.

Spacious town house

A home away from home!

The house was great! It was for the bride and our family, but also for the girls to get ready. Very open, lots of bathrooms and natural light! It was perfect. The only downfall was the parking is limited. However, we made it all work.

Fantastic for family get togethers

Lot's of space to spread out on the first floor and ground level would be great if you wanted to give younger ones their own space. Beds were extremely comfortable and neighborhood was quiet. Located at the end of a cul de sac so minimal traffic. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Family vacation

This was our first time renting through Vrbo and won’t be our last! We would rent this house again and most likely will make this an annual trip. We brought our own linens and towels instead of renting the linen package which wasn’t an issue. The house had plenty of games for the kids and the adults! There is plenty of space so everyone can be spaced out and not on top of each other. The kitchen is well stocked. Loved that they had beach chairs and an umbrella to borrow.
