We visited Berlin in October half term. The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and warm with a well equiped kitchen if you are planning to eat in. It was further from the city centre than we thought, which wasn't a problem for us as our children are teenagers, but might be more tricky with younger children. There are buses to Central Station but propably quicker to walk the 25 mins and then access other transport to get around the city.Over all, we enjoyed our stay here, only dropped a star because of distance from centre and the exterior entrance was very dark at night due to a lack of lighting.

Great Value

The apartment was VERY quiet! It was clean and perfect for a traveller who would not be entertaining. We did a little cooking, so everything did work! Great hot water! No cold showers. And yes, I would return to this location.

Some appliances didn't work

Neither the stove top nor the micro worked and staff couldn't fix them. We had to re-heat coffee in the oven. Other than that our stay was great.

Stay at Moabit flat

The flat is located on the ground floor of a quiet building. The neighborhood is about 15 mns away from the main trainstation (huge hub). Communication was very smooth with the owner. Key handover was done on time and even before the requested time. Oliver gave me a few tips about Berlin and daily life.

Viel Geld für viel Frust

1044 für eine Woche - und dafür bekamen wir (2 Personen) eine Wohnung im Hinterhaus, Parterre, mit Müllbergen direkt vorm Fenster. Der Geruch nach Fäkalien war so schlimm, dass man die Fenster besser zuließ. Innen: Sperrmüll-Möbel, Mini-Waschbecken, kaputte Mikrowelle und tropfendes Wasser aus der darüberliegenden Wohnung.Absolut enttäuschend - nie wieder!!

Wir waren zufrieden

Mein Bruder und ich haben fünf Tage hier verbracht und uns wohl und sicher gefühlt. Vorteilhaft fanden wir die sehr gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, internationale Gastronomie und Kioske Wort-wörtlich nebenan und um die Ecke, Lidl ca. 300m entfernt. Die Kommunikation mit Marc und Oliver verlief reibungslos; ebenso das WLAN in der Wohnung. Die Erdgeschosswohnung liegt im Hinterhof. Trotz vieler Wohneinheiten ist sie sehr ruhig und man hört nichts vom Strassengeräuschpegel. Die Bilder von der Küche müssten aktualisiert werden.

Clean, quiet flat

A nice and recently-updated flat in Moabit. 20 min walk from Berlin Central Train Station, in a quiet neighborhood. Good food and grocery stores nearby, as well as a lovely park. Access to the apartment is from inside the complex’s foyer. The microwave was not working for us, but not a big concern. The shower and bathroom seemed new and they were great. I might have liked a fan or some way to circulate air, as just outside our door and one of the bedroom windows were three large and overflowing trash cans, so it was tough to try to get a clean breeze through. That was likely a ‘just right now’ issue, though. I would, without reservation, recommend this to someone looking for a calm place to stay with close proximity to the center of Berlin.

Functional, clean and well priced

The flat is clean and functional. It has a basic kitchen, clothes washer, fridge etc. The beds are a good size and adequately comfortable, the bathroom has a toilet and shower and sink. None of it is very fancy or modern or shiny, it all feels rather old. The decoration could be improved as the rooms especially feel somewhat bleak and bare, the high ceilings are nice but do make them feel even emptier. However, it is clean and functional, which is the most important part, and I warmed to the place by the end of it. The hosts were efficient, friendly and replied in a timely manner, nothing to complain there. The flat is about 25 minute walk north of the central station and about 10/15 minutes by bus, with stops nearby. There are also a variety of supermarkets within a 5/10 minute radius which was convenient. There is little in terms of interesting food or sights anywhere nearby, but the transport links are good enough that it’s usually 30/45 minutes by public transport most places, even in the Southeast which we visited often. As an additional note this is a good summer flat, we were there in a 38C heatwave and the flat was always nice and pleasantly cool inside without any need for fans or AC. Overall, this is a solid flat. True, its interior design is bland and lacking but everything is clean and mostly functional, in an decent location for a very good price. For that I think it is a very good deal, especially for two people like my friend and I who were students on a budget.

Zona tranquila , bien comunicada . Apartamento limpio y baño cómodo. Faltaría un living room para descansar tras la visitas a Berlín. Las camas /almohadas no son cómodas , debería mejorarse.

Great experience

Good diverse location in what seems to be great mix of working class and students. Transportation by bus close and easy to use with direct routes to trains and the city centers. Cafes around the corner and grocery store a short walk. The place is large and very secure. Clean and well supplied for doing your own cooking. Well priced. I would suggest having a book with local info on where to find cafes, groceries and publis transport.

La struttura non rappresentava esattamente cio' che mi aspettavo da quanto visto delle immagini. La mobilia poco curata e piuttosto fatiscente. In compenso la posizione comoda e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici.

Freundliche Begrüßung, schöne, helle und große Räume. Wir waren geschäftlich da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr ruhig, die Matratzen top. Also: Für erholsamen Schlaf ist gesorgt. Die Möblierung ist etwas spartanisch. Ein Sofa im Raum, wo der Fernseher steht, würde den Genuss des Aufenthalts sehr steigern. Ansonsten: Wir waren höchst zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Kleine und saubere Wohnung im Bezirk Moabit. Die Wohnung befindet sich im EG im Hinterhaus und ist ruhig. In näherer Umgebung findet man allerlei Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf. Mit den öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln ist die Wohnung gut zu erreichen. Praktisch ist die verfügbare Waschmaschine in der Wohnung.

Einmal und nie wieder!

Wer kein Tageslicht, kein stabiles Internet, keinen flimmerfreien TV-Empfang, keinen Esstisch für 4 Personen, keine Design-Möbel, keine funktionierenden Fenstergriffe braucht, sondern nur zum Schlafen kommt, ist vielleicht zufrieden mit dieser Wohnung. Ich war es nicht. Das einzig Gute war die Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus.

Conforme à l'annonce plutôt une bonne surprise

L'appartement est en rez-de-chaussée d'une cours, à notre arrivée pb avec évier de la salle de bain mais réparer le dimanche en notre absence, Merci China May! Bus à 30 mètres pour circuler dans berlin, commerces à proximité, aucun pb d'insécurité. Nous étions 4 adultes, déco sympa et sobre, très bonnes literies. Je recommande
