"Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. "Lovely property in a prime position just a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms (superior) very comfortable and clean, staff were lovely and attentive. Food in the restaurant was excellent, but the service was slow. We pre ordered our breakfast on the day we left as we needed to get on the road as it was a long journey, that worked out well. The waterfront just up the road is worth a visit. Would recommend."

"Nice clean rood that included a small kitchen including refrigerator. Ate at a small restaurant there with great service. We were only there one night so did not try any of the entertainment. Friendly and helpful staff"

"We had no problem with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service and food was excellent. The only drawback was the hotel has a generator, but during loadshedding all the plugs and lights are off. So during the evenings you only have a small light in the room. If you are an outdoor person, there are lots to do during the day. We will definitely go back if they do an upgrade on their generator."

"Great views and lovely farm house charm. Great location to walk around Laangeban and also lovely to have the woodfired hot tub. Only challenge is there is no food after 8 so if you are arriving late make sure you tell them in advance. "
