Awesome Lakehouse and Beach

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—perfect for a relaxing getaway. But the real highlight was the beach. It was beautiful, peaceful, and spacious, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the water any time of day. We also rented the pontoon boat. The boat was a great addition to our stay. Great job Brian. We highly recommend this house for anyone looking to unwind by the lake!

Lake House

This house was great for our family to stay for a week away. It was perfect for our family with young children to play in the sand and shallow water to enter into the lake. Brian was a great host and quick reply’s on questions.

We had a great time at this place with our family. The cottage was well stocked with all the utensils, towels and dishes you might need. The beach was great for kids to play in the sand and the lake was shallow for a long ways. Boating was great!!

Lake House

Perfect lake house for a big group. Have your own dock, little beach, and big backyard space. We rented the pontoon and it was super easy to drive, and we did some fishing. The kayaks were great and Brian was helpful and responsive with every question I had. Also very clutch that there’s stuff for a toddler (noise machine, toys, baby monitor). Hope to come back again in the future!

Family Reunion

Great location. Wonderful view, yard, beach and fire pit were outstanding. Kitchen area accommodated large group. Bedrooms allowed large number to stay. Parking was more than enough. Had a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful location for surprise birthday

The property location and view was breathtaking. The house was very well maintained and equipped. The house had everything you would have in your own home and more. You actually just need to bring your family and food because everything else was supplied. The host had great communication and sent messages and went the extra mile to advise us on activities to do in town and location of grocery stores. The kids had great time at skating rink. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors and the deck and beach because of the weather. But look forward to doing so as my family wants to make this our meet up location. Host was very thoughtful. I can’t say enough about his kindness. My mother’s 80th birthday was a big success.

Great Family Location

The house was a perfect for our whole family to enjoy for a summer vacation. The sandy beach area is perfect for the little ones and the older kids loved tubing on the lake. Kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of bath/beach towels for use. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vacation house in the sister lakes area.

Fantastic Family Retreat

This property offers an unparalleled experience for anyone looking to accommodate a large family with diverse ages. The lake and swimming areas are spectacular, with plenty of shallow areas that offer a safe place for even the most inexperienced swimmers to enjoy the water. The large lawn made space for lawn games and lake watching. Tall trees shelter the beach area and provided some much needed shade for those sunny, summer days. The multiple deck areas and beach front fire pit provided many different hangout spots, and gave our kids plenty of room to have their own little space. There are several restaurants within walking or boating distance, which allow for a little destination for a morning stroll or an evening boat ride for ice cream. This place really has amazing outdoor spaces which is exactly what you want from a lake house during the height of summer.

Mother/Daughter Wine Weekend

What a fabulous weekend! Brian was a great host and very responsive to our questions. We had 14 adults stay for a weekend full of fun, wine and catching up. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are beautiful and were where our group hung out most of the weekend. It had a huge island that we set up most meals and snacks and a very nice dining room table that we all could sit around. There are two master suites that would be great if two families were sharing this wonderful cottage. The rest of the bedrooms were adequate size for sleeping. On Saturday evening we enjoyed the huge fire pit in the backyard and the wonderful sunset. There were plenty of Adirondack chairs and if you are visiting in the summer there is a fabulous sandy beach. Our weekend could not have been better. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

Fun Family Weekend Getaway

Our family had a blast staying at this property over a long weekend! The house and yard/lake were awesome for all 24 of us to enjoy hanging out, games inside and out, bon fires, and even some boating. The beds were comfortable and the overall the house was spacious and well kept. The owners were friendly and easy to work with and I'd recommend giving this place a try.

Great stay at awesome lake house

Had a great time at this house on Round Lake. The set up on the beach is really great, with tons of beach toys for our kids to play with. House is nice, obvious most parts are new. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. House is also close to the Strand and Sister Lakes brewery. Brian was great at communicating the whole time, easy to work with. Thanks!

Awesome spot!

Loved the home. Very clean and with plenty of space to spread out and sleep comfortably. The total property is a home run and a great space for a mini family reunion or get-together with friends.

Amazing experience all around! Highly recommended!

Property is perfect location right on the lake and close to an extremely fun sand bar as well as walkable restaurants. Beautiful newly remodeled home with an unbelievable outdoor area that has it all - multiple large decks, grass area and beach! Owners are extremely responsive and flexible. Definitely recommend for parties of all shapes and sizes!

Wonderful Week!

We could not have asked for a better home and better VRBO owners. From booking, to the initial conversations, Brian was quick in answering all questions we had. He was helpful with the entire process! We saw the property in the morning and had some initial questions. The same day he went over to the property to take some addition photos and get back to us with our questions answered. He was very attentive to our needs during our stay answering and replying very quickly. Brian has thought of everything that a family might need and then some more. The setting was amazing, the beach area was a great place for some simple R and R and a great place for sandcastles to be made. The lake was really nice and the kids loved playing on the floating platform. It definitely saw hours and hours of fun. The fire pit was excellent for some shade sitting to evening s'mores making. The exterior deck made you feel as if you were in a treehouse over looking the lake, a great place to take your morning coffee. The deck also was equipped with a dart board and the ring game, which we had never played before but everyone even the kids played it and loved it. The interior of the house was spacious for all 15 of us, 9 adults and six kids. The table had enough seating for all of us to enjoy a dinner together, not to mention the view from the table catches the setting sun. The house came with plenty of towels, wash clothes and tons of beach towels. Our families have been going to Michigan for summer vacation for the past 9 years and this VRBO has been the best one by far, highly recommended and we definitely plan to visit it again! Thank you again Brian for everything and for sharing your home with us.

Truly a sister´s gem!

We have been getting the family together for a summer waterski vacation for 4 years now. This was the best situation yet. The spacious waterfront property couldn't have been more enjoyable! From the sandy beach, to the grassy play area, the tree swing, the fire pit, the awesome sound system, and every other well thought out detail, we enjoyed every moment. Our kids ranged from 1-10yrs. and we were a party of 17. There was enough space, enough towels, enough of everything! The lake was a great size for watersports and the wake hours were not confining! The water depth on the property was absolutely perfect for the kids and the sand bar was just a short kayak/paddleboard/swim away. We enjoyed the deck for drinks, dining, darts and da view. We fit 5 vehicles plus a boat trailer in the parking area. Groceries, gas, ice just 4 minutes away with party city and Meijer 20 min. Thank you Brian and family for sharing your lakehouse with us! Highly recommended!
