"This property is very beautiful in an even more beautiful setting. Walter (property manager) was extremely responsive to requests and Jim the owner was quick to answer messages. Our entire family enjoyed this property. A few things to note the road getting there is extremely rough, when they tell you that 4 wheel drive is required that is not an overstatement. You will want to make sure you have everything you need before you head to the house because getting into town is not a small feat....

"This was an amazingly beautiful and overall comfortable home in Santa Elena, Belize. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the bedding was soft. The home was clean and secure.The only disappointment was when I read "ac" in the description, I presumed more of the home would have ac. The only ac was in a small bedroom that had a double bed. Overall, the home is very open and a constant breeze kept it mostly comfortable.I would stay here again for sure!"

"The home was a good fit for our family of 5. There is no air conditioning in the living room, which was uncomfortable. So, my husband, 21 year old son, and I spent a good deal of time on the porch playing cards. There was a pleasant breeze most days that kept us comfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We could drive 5-10 to good food and coffee. We didn't walk much in the neighborhood, as there are no sidewalks and since our road was paved, a lot of cars and bikes would fly...

"Julieta and Tony were personable, gracious hosts; the cabin was comfortable and well-equipped. I especially enjoyed the complimentary local coffee to be enjoyed sitting on the screened porch, high in the trees with bird song."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town."

"Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). Comfy beds and pillows, cool A/C, lovely pool, beautiful views, all the comforts of home away from home. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!!!"

"Property was in excellent condition and very clean. Front room has no A/C but if both bedroom doors were open and the fans were turned on, it cooled down nicely. We only used the A/C when we were there during the day and we were fine. The furnishings were fine too. Neighbor hood was typical Belize with both nice and run down houses. "Big house on nice grounds. Well-equipped kitchen. Remodeled bathrooms. Good location across from San Ignacio hotel. Close to town but up a very steep hill. Caretaker was very helpful. "

"Exactly as described. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The view was lovely, we enjoyed the deck. It was a bit tricky to find since we arrived after dark. We would stay here again."

"We took our large family group of 9 to explore some Mayan sites and do the ATM cave tour. The location was perfect for that and to walk around San Ignacio. The location was central to town, the market and many restaurants. Being in town there was a little more noise at night so be prepared for that. A great place to stay. We will be back!"

"This property is worth every penny. Close enough to San Ignacio that most tours picked me up for free or a small fee. I took a morning walk to the orchard, enjoyed incredible food at the on site restaurant, and everyone working there made us feel extremely well taken care of. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. "

"Overall, the property was great. We did have the hot water heater go out, and there is an air conditioning in every room, but the property manager communicated great greatly and provided us a discount of 50 for the inconvenience of not having hot water for three of our four days there."
