Amazing villa!

Fantastic holiday home in the area of Moraira. With everything you need for a great holiday. Wonderful garden, very well kept. The owners are charming and always ready to solve any problem. Es una casa muy bien equipada, muy cuidada. La piscina excelente, muy limpia, vienen a limpiarla durante la estancia, jardín muy bonito y cuidado, la recepción muy buena, muy atentos. Los dueños en constante contacto para cualquier necesidad. Las fotos de la casa coinciden con la realidad.

Lovely villa in a fantastic location

This villa is as described in the listing. The pool and garden area are fantastic with many areas to sit and relax. Inside is traditional and was easy to keep cool using the air con. We would happily return to this villa if staying in the area again.

Beautiful villa/stunning home

We had a great stay at this lovely villa. The photos on the website truly reflect the Villa and gardens. The Villa is well appointed with plenty of space to chill out and have fun. The outdoor space is lovely with a fabulous pool, areas to relax, a BBQ and places to eat (but watch the mosquitoes they really liked us!). A good location to explore the surrounding areas but a car is a must. There are some lovely touches around the home which give away that this is Anne & Johan’s home. We had great communication with the hosts throughout our stay and thank them for letting us share their special space.

A wonderful villa with the most amazing pool. 10 mins walk to a beach with restaurants and Calpe is just a few minutes drive. The villa was beautiful and the owners have great communication and easy to get along with. Very highly recommended!!

Stunning villa in amazing location

Our recent stay at the Villa was absolutely amazing, we had a couple of minor issues on the first day but Johan made sure these were sorted out promptly. Communication from booking to check out has been super-efficient, friendly and helpful. We stayed here with our daughters and their partners, we all love to cook, and it was a genuine pleasure to use the kitchen. We’ve stayed in many places where the kitchen utensils are basic, this is definitely not the case here, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. Johan and Anne generously share the contents of their wonderful home with their guests, so table settings look and feel beautiful, so much so, we only went out for dinner one night. The barbeque was great and with 4 different spaces for dining, you are literally spoilt for choice, the dining room and poolside were our favourites. The pool and garden are fantastic, totally peaceful, most days we didn’t see or hear anyone else, just what we wanted, it really is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The well-established tropical garden is stunning. As you would expect there was a good few mosquitos, so make sure to take insect spray. But the house is well prepared for this with citronella candles and plug in repellents in most locations so it’s not a huge issue. The pool is stunning and so well maintained it really is a delight, we enjoyed the pool from early morning to evening. It was actually difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool and garden to explore, so do allow yourselves a few days to just enjoy the space. We enjoyed the walk to the beach, it’s a steep climb on the way back. Mandala, the bar on the beach does good food and there are several supermarkets close by, we hired a car so had access to 3 or 4. We all totally loved the villa and had a fabulous holiday and would love to become one of Johan and Anna’s regular visitors.

Lovely stay - August 2022

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely villa during late August 2022. A relatively short walk (around 15 mins) to local beaches & restaurants or a 10-15 min drive to either Moraira (lovely) or Calp (bigger/busier) so the location is good. Would generally recommend needing a car to get around. A very clean, comfortable and well appointed 3 bedroom villa with loads of space outside with a great pool, outside cooking area with BBQ and lovely garden surroundings. Some nice touches with tech like TV with all the main streaming apps built in for the kids and a Sonus speaker system which you can connect to when you want some entertainment to relax. Very friendly, helpful and approachable owners also - would highly recommend! 👍

Already rebooked for 2023!!!

The Villa is exactly as shown in the photo's. You could describe it as an upside down house in UK terms in that all of the bedrooms are on the ground floor with the kitchen and living area on the upper level. This works very well as it keeps the bedrooms cool at night and although we did use the aircon at times the bedrooms were no where near as hot as other villa's we have stayed at in August. The pool area is completely private and is not overlooked and has the benefit of sun all day from 10am with various umbrellas and shady areas if it was needed. The kitchen facilities are the best we have experienced and it’s clear this is the owners second home rather than just a rental. The villa is up a steep hill and although it is walking distance from the nearest beach, restaurant and supermarket you do need a car or take taxi's to enjoy Calpe or Moraira (the next biggest towns) Calpe is approximately 5 minutes by car. Overall this villa is really good value and the best we have stayed in. We liked it so much we will be returning in 2023. Johan is very responsive and although we did not have any issues while there he kept in regular contact. (checking we arrived safely etc) Thanks again, we are already looking forward to next year!

Talo sopi hyvin kuudelle. Hyvin varusteltu. Kolme makuuhuonetta omilla kylpyhuoneilla. Ihana uima-allas ja allasalue. Kaunis puutarha. Paljon rappusia ja talo sijaitsee kukkulalla jonne n. 1 km nousu rannalta ja ravintoloista. Ei sovi liikuntarajoitteisille. Alueella vain muutama ravintola ja auto välttämätön. Ei julkista liikennettä eikä takseja La Fusterassa.

Prachtige vakantievilla

De villa voldeed volledig aan de beschrijving. Het prachtig vernieuwde zwembad is een grote troef voor jong en oud en de toegankelijkheid vanuit de slaapkamers is een meerwaarde. Er zijn een vijftal terrassen waar je altijd wel natuurlijke schaduw vindt. Johan en Anneke begeleidden ons fantastisch voor, tijdens en na ons verblijf met duidelijke uitleg over het huis en de omgeving. We hadden er een leuke 3 weken in een prachtige omgeving !!!

October in Benissa

We spent two weeks in mid-October and we had a great vacation. The house is very nice furnished and offers all comfort. It is exactly as described and we did not miss anything. We had barbeque and enjoyed our meals on the terrace. The house is very quiet and has a beautiful and well-groomed garden. We did not need the air condition but the fans proved to be helpful against the mosquitoes, which unfortunately still existed in October (mosquitoes are widespread in the area and appear almost everywhere). The pool is amazing and the water temperature was - although already October - still 22 degrees (the sea temperature was even a few degrees higher). The nearest beach (Playa de la Fustera) and the recommendable Mandala Beach Bar are only a 15-minute walk downhill. The sandy beaches of Calpe can be reached in 10 minutes by car (a lot of free parking!!). These beaches are not crowded and perfect for kids (non-swimmers). Many thanks to Anne and Johan for the friendly communication and the many useful tips we received before our trip.

Gut, aber mit Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten

Das Haus ist sauber und gut gelegen. Der Pool scheint recht neu zu sein. Die Außenanlage ist gepflegt und mit vielen Pflanzen. Das sorgt für Schatten, aber leider auch den für viele Moskitos. Solange man in der Sonne ist hat man seine Ruhe, aber sobald man sich in die Nähe von Schatten bewegt braucht man einen Schutz. Etwas schwierig empfanden wir die Schlafzimmer. Zwei der drei Zimmer haben eine Klimaanlage, dies sind jedoch keine Split-Geräte. Sie haben zwar einen Luftauslass nach draußen, der Kompressor ist jedoch im Raum. Das macht die Geräte sehr laut. Das ist insbesondere im kleinsten Schlafzimmer sehr unangenehm. Eines der großen Schlafzimmer ist recht groß, hat aber keine Klimaanlage und nur ein kleines Fenster und Ventilator. Im Hochsommer wurde uns zu heiß und wir mussten in das kleine Zimmer mit der lauten Klimaanlage umziehen. Hier besteht definitiv Verbesserungspotential.

Beautiful ‘home’ for a great holidays

The house is beautiful and is a ‘home’ more than a rental house. The main living area is very well set up, a spacious living-room with two comfortable sofás and two armchairs to watch TV. Open kitchen and large dining table. The swimming pool is new, has a very good size and is lovely in the evening if you switch-on the pool lights. The location is very good, just between Calpe and Moraira, with many supermarkets within 10 minutes drive. Car is a must. Anne and Johan were very helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. We had a great holidays!

grosse Enttäuschung

Meine Frau und ich haben uns auf einen lang ersehnten Urlaub gefreut, den ersten nach Ausbruch der Pandemie.....leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht! Das Haus war alles in allem sehr schmutzig und vor allem ein fürchterlicher Gestank im ganzen Haus. Offensichtlich wurde es wegen der Pandemie lange nicht vermietet und wir waren die ersten Gäste, leider wurde jedoch keine Grundreinigung durchgeführt. Im einzelnen: Im Gefrierfach/Kühlschrank war Schimmel, Klimaanlage wurde solange nicht benutzt, dass die Batterien ausgelaufen waren, mehrere ( offensichtlich seit langem ) tote Kakerlaken , alles staubig, Boden offensichtlich nicht feucht geputzt, Oberflächen in Küche und Wohnzimmer waren schmierig und klebrig von Schmutz ( der Wohnzimmertisch war einfach nur eklig klebrig), in einem Badezimmer lag noch eine offensichtlich benutzte !! Damenbinde im Papierkorb..... Mit einer gründlichen Reinigung, besonders zu Corona-Zeiten, hatte das leider gar nichts zu tun! Aber das Schlimmste: der Gestank! Das ganze Haus roch extrem stark vermodert oder schimmelig. Offensichtlich war dies auch zumindest der Reinigungsfirma bekannt, denn im ganzen Haus waren mehr als 20 !!!!! "Lufterfrischer" verteilt! Ein Badezimmer stank auch nach Tagen des Lüftens noch so stark, dass man es unmöglich benutzen konnte. Im anderen Badezimmer war der Wasserdruck so gering, bzw. die Hähne/Duschen so verstopft, dass auch dieses ( ausser der Toilette)unbrauchbar war. Im Hauptbadezimmer war nur eines der beiden Waschbecken nutzbar, bei dem anderen war der Abfluss defekt. Aber, wie gesagt, das Schlimmste von allem der ständig vorhandene Modergeruch......selbst nach extensivem Lüften. Die einzig positiven Punkte ( und auch nur deshalb die zwei Sterne....sonst wären es "null" gewesen): Der sehr schöne und sehr saubere und gepflegte Pool und die sehr netten und wirklich bemühten Hausbesitzer. Sie haben aus der Ferne alles versucht zu helfen und haben uns sogar noch neue Kopfkissen, Bettbezüge und Laken liefern lassen! Ausserdem wurde uns sofort die Gebühr für die Reinigung erstattet. Für die Hilfe, Mühe und schnelle Reaktion meinen Dank und Respekt! Leider konnte auch die erneut von den Hausbesitzern vorbei geschickte Reinigungskraft den Gestank nicht beseitigen und konnte nur anbieten noch mehr !!! Lufterfrischer zu besorgen. Letztlich sind wir dann auch kurz vor dem eigentlichen Ende ausgezogen und haben uns ein Hotel genommen.....der Gestank war einfach nicht mehr zu ertragen. Schade!

Un oasis au calme

Belle Maison très fonctionnelle, joliment décorée et Chaque chambre dispose de sa propre SDB + WC, avec une climatisation et c’est très appréciable. Un beau jardin tropical agréable proche d’une forêt de pins (quelques moutisques☺️). la plage est à 15/20 minutes à pied. Très bonne communication avec Anne et Johan qui ont été très gentils suite à une demande spéciale avant de valider séjour. Bref nous avons très envie d’y retourner !
