The cottage is fantastic! Stayed the week with adult children. Location is walkable to Mill District, downtown and floating destinations. Back yard is great, beds are comfy and kitchen is well stocked.Jackie is great host! We hope to be back soon.

Can’t beat the location

We had a great trip (4 adults & 2 dogs)! The house was perfect for our group. 1 downer is that none of the bedroom/bathroom doors actually latch closed so we had my sister’s dogs waking us up in the morning by nudging our bedroom door open. The master is spacious but the 2nd bedroom was a bit small. The house was very clean which is always a major plus! Outside furniture cushions could be cleaner but hard to control so we expect that. The fenced yard was the main attraction though one dog got out through the neighbor’s temporary fence. Jackie is SUPER responsive and so nice. When there were a few issues she fixed them ASAP. We had a great stay!

Best VRBO I've stayed at! Location can't be beat!

My long weekend stay was so lovely at the cottage. The location right on the river really cannot be beat. Pretty much everything is within walking distance and the cottage is located right along the river trail. It was so nice drinking coffee on the river, people watching and being able to hop right in and float the river from the cottage. There was ample seating outside and plenty of paddle boards, kayaks, tubes etc...provided. Jackie was extremely communicative and provided everything you could think of to make the stay wonderful (coffee, extra towels etc). I would love to come back! Jackie was very kind and thoughtful and you can tell from her communication that she really aims for guests to enjoy the space to its fullest. I really cannot think of anything that was lacking. This property truly was an amazing starting point to enjoy all that Bend has to offer! Thanks for everything!

Great place on the river.

This Old Bend mill house is very well updated, maintained and stocked for a wonderful stay on the river. The owner, Jackie, is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for two couples or a family. Great location near dining and recreation. We'll be back!

Beautiful location and wonderful hosts

What a wonderful vacation! This house is right in the Deschutes River with access to river rafting and a footbridge across the river to a great kids park, well appointed with everything you’d need for entertaining, a caring host that lived nearby, and a big driveway that fit four cars. We will be back to this property … it’s a magical place.

Amazing location, amenities and more!

Jackie is an amazing hostess with great communication and so helpful! The cottage will exceed your expectations with its amenities, location and views! Kayaks to walk out your back door and into the river. Bikes to access trails to downtown, The Mill district and parks. The backyard is an oasis with tables, comfy chairs and a fire pit. The inside is equally impressive with all the amenities! Comfy beds, loads of pillows, blankets and a stocked medicine cabinet. The kitchen has everything you need and great coffee beans, a grinder and Ninja coffee maker. We can't wait to stay again!

Idyllic life on the river

Not only are you on the river, but you are centrally located downtown. You can float, kayak, paddle board from the property. You can go to the local playground. There’s fifteen fancy coffee shops in walking distance in every direction. I can’t recommend the location enough.

Amazing!!!

This cottage is in a Beautifull location and comes equipped with all u need with easy check in. Very easy to grab bikes, tubes, paddleboards, or kayaks from the storage shed and have fun. We were so grateful to meet Jackie’s family and to learn how to play pickleball. Jackie connected with us the day before our arrival and made herself available throughout our stay for any issues or questions we had. We enjoyed biking the river trails and walking to nearby cafes. We all really appreciated how quiet the cottage was and the comfy beds. The outdoor setting was so thought out for barbecuing, gathering at the fireplace with s’mores , or lounging with a book or magazine. Even our dogs were exhausted by the end of the trip from running around in the big backyard and dipping in the river. We hope to visit the cottage again in the near future to make more memories. Great week in Bend!!!

The cottage was perfect for our stay!! Very dog friendly our two dogs loved the backyard and the river. Easy walk to Old Mill and downtown. Nothing beats floating down the river starting right from your backyard!!!

Gem in Bend

What a perfect, immaculate little cottage in a prime location. We enjoyed the walking trails right outside the door. The backyard was a hit, we had campfires, fished, played croquet, and watched our dogs run free in the secure, fenced yard. The beds were comfortable, all the extra throw blankets were cozy. We will absolutely be back. If you are looking for the whole “Bend” experience, look no further. This is the spot.
