This was our first vacation at Sunriver, and we liked it very much, so we would definitely return. The house has a lot of positives - location is only a short walk to many amenities. It is very roomy both in space and beds, and has everything you can think of for activities and more. The layout with separate dining (2 areas), game room, billiard room, kitchen, and patio allows people to be all together, or find a spot of quiet on their own. The cons included no master downstairs and the 2 stepups into the main house need some reflective tape for safety (there was a tape mark where one was before). The house is pretty dark even with the lights on, and the listing left out several major amenities like the bikes, kayaks (2), and tubes in the garage. We also agree with several other reviewers that the poor cleaning job was most annoying. The floors were littered (a dirty sock and empty pop bottle behind the drapes in the casita), most carpets need a deep cleaning, and straws and food crumbs were left on the patio table. Some older kitchen utensils were not cleanable and need to be replaced, and dishes in the dishwasher top rack mostly had to be redone by hand. None of these niggles would prevent you having a wonderful time, and we did. Just for the price we expected a little better. Maybe time to change the cleaning service?
