The house and the location are beautiful. The home is very well stocked with lots of items in the pantry to use . Each bathroom was well stocked with Aveno products, and big fluffy bath towels. There is also a take a bottle leave a bottle wine fridge! There are several biking and hiking trails within walking distance of the house. The house has kayaks and paddle boards that are available for use but the river that is right outside the house was too low to be able to use them due to the season. We tried to do some fishing but the neighbor quickly told us fishing wasnt allowed until May. We still had a great stay and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and home. The hot tube was relaxing and in good working condition. The town of SunRiver is about 15 min away and had places to eat, a grocery store , and cute shops. Bend was 30 minutes away which if you are hoping to spend more time in Bend, I would recommend staying somewhere closer. I would definitely stay again but with more the intent to enjoy the scenery, the home, and the biking trails.

Amazing property and great location! We floated the river everyday, enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub and did not want to leave! Hosts are very Friendly, easy to communicate with and the house is stocked with anything needed! We will be back!

Long weekend winter stay

Our families met for a wonderful pre-Christmas stay. We had such a lovely time, the house was a great location and beautiful setting. There were so many extras, making our stay stress free. We can’t wait to visit again—next time in the warmer months so we can enjoy summer activities!

A perfect property!

This house and property are more beautiful than the pictures reflect! Perfect for a long or short stay. Loved sitting by the river with coffee in the morning, dropping a line in the water. Was wonderful having kayaks and paddle boards as an option, although we didn’t have time to use them. Next visit … easy access to Bend and Crater Lake! Hope to return to this property with family next year!

Amazing Home

This home is exactly as pictured and it was a perfect stay for our family. The location was right on the river (wonderful views) and exactly what we needed for our kayak trips. We could float downstream or we could put in upstream and float to the house. We biked and hiked through beautiful forest land. The house is the best equipped home we have ever stayed in. We hope to make this our stay every summer. A big thank you to the owners who have thought of every detail and are great communicators. We highly recommend.

Relaxing and Beautiful!

This home was perfect for six of us and our two dogs— could easily fit & comfortably. it was about 30 minutes to Mt Bachelor for some of us to ski and snowboard, and come back to the hot tub! Very quiet neighborhood and large property for playing in the snow, which was plentiful this year in late March (6-8 in fell one night). We brought board games, but there also were many already there too. Great/easy walking along the roads in the friendly neighborhood with the dogs (given too much snow to hike). Will consider making this an annual trip!

Perfect Thanksgiving

This property had everything we needed, and more! Fully stocked kitchen made thanksgiving dinner a breeze. Cold weather, a warm fireplace, cozy hot tub and comfy beds made for a perfect reprieve from the day to day. We will be back!

Best Cabin on the. Deschutes

This property is is gorgeous. Right on the river surrounded by forest land. Easy hiking trails steps from the cabin. All bedrooms were well appointed with custom log furniture. We spent our days hiking and enjoying the river. Our dogs were in heaven. Will definitely stay again. Just waiting for next summer’s dates to be available to book. Carla

Loved everything. Great view, perfectly placed sitting areas that made it feel secluded. ** only slight issue was next door neighbors had some loud arguments in the middle of the night with lots of profanity. Other than that, incredible home and beautiful area!

The property and home was great. Clean, prime location right on the river. Hosts were very sweet even gave us a little welcome basket. The cleanest I have ever seen a log home. Very few cobwebs and clean bathrooms. We will definitely refer to others and book again in the future.

Excellent spot for family getaway

My family rented this property for an early Thanksgiving get-together. We ran into a few small issues - one of the ovens didn’t work, an outdoor spigot broke after a surprise snow/ freeze, and a piece broke off one of the bikes unexpectedly - but the owners were very communicative when I reached out. The home and yard are beautiful and private, our dogs loved the running space! Lots of activities and amenities at the house. We would definitely return. Highly recommend!
