We enjoyed the convenience of location to all things 'down town' in Bend. It was a quiet neighborhood, atleast the timing of our January stay. Hot tub was perfect for 2 and had great presuure as well as maintained heat so we could relax often in the jets after our outtings or just with coffee. The home offered all we needed other than access to what we assumed was a stackable washer and dryer behind a keypad door next to fridge. Would have been helpful with the bathingsuits and towels after hot tub use and before the next one.Neighboring home on west side of back porch is a law practice. The huge window of the practice that looks right into the back yard was wide open and people were in the window costantly, even after 9-5 expected hours. Waved a few times as we locked eyes while one employee was on the phone for hours and then as another employee reacted to look around the second person in window to watch one of us getting out of hot tub causing both to look. We were not planning anything naughty or illicit, but some choice of having a retractable screen or shade that could be lowered from the west end of the porch would be a fabulous addition to a lovely cottage and could possibly remind the neighboring buisness to empart some respectful privacy. We would definitely consider staying here again armed with knowing we would come with our own set of towels and a second set of bathing suits so we do not have to crawl into wet cold ones as well as know the neighbors dont use
