I want to start by saying this is an absolute beautiful location- no question about that. The hot tub was also amazing, and the house was nice & clean. However, for anyone who visits during the summer, they should know that the air conditioner does not work. After spending hours hiking in the sun, we were looking forward to coming back and relaxing in a cooler temperature. However, the temperature inside was a stuffy 84 degrees even though we set the air to 58 degrees, as stated on the home instructions. It was so unpleasant that we essentially closed the dark screen looking blinds and stripped down. After walking around without clothes in the house, thinking we had privacy since we could not see outside of the blinds, we decided to go outside and look at the stars. It was then we realized that the blinds were one-way blinds...set up so that the outside can see inside rather than vice versa. Every single window had these blinds, and no option to cover the window. This includes both bedrooms and the bathrooms. Huge windows. Easy to see through the blinds from outside. So basically we were giving the house next door a free show. We ended up covering the windows with towels the next day so that we could have privacy just changing in the bedroom.
Overall, we did like the property...however a working air conditioner should be there for the summer months...and there really needs to be blinds that prevent people outside from seeing in.
