No internet or Stove

We were unable to work or have TV/phone/Ipads working during our stay. Our own phone plan did not work at this house. The local property manager for Vacasa tried to help and provide a hot spot but it didn’t work. We picked up papa Murphy pizza on the way into town but the oven is so old the dots to tell what the temperature is and bake are worn off so we didnt have any idea what the temp/bake/broil/pre-set was set at. No outlets for phone chargers.

No Hot Tub, but otherwise good!

We did not really use the stove/ kitchen. The Quelah Condos hot tub has been broken since last August, so I think they should stop advertising it. There are 8 SHARC passes, though. The location is good, but the walk to the SHARC is a bit unintuitive- look at a map. We were happy with the property for the price!

The location was nice. Seems to be a pest problem.

The location was good. At first the place seemed cleaned. I could tell it wasn't vacuumed as I found things on the floor from previous tenants. We noticed rat feces in random spots on day 3 that was not there when we first got there. My 6 year old daughter found a set mouse trap upon first arriving and almost got herself in it. My husband found a Marijuana vape pen in the downstairs closet. He's a very vulnerable person and I didn't need him going down that rabbit hole again so I had to make sure to hold onto it until we left and dispose of it then. The last night I didn't sleep well cause I was so paranoid that there was a rat in the building.

Dated and Lacking

The condo served our needs to ski. The kitchen lacks sufficient silverware. It needs a new set of pots, it currently has very old non-stick pots and pans that are scratched up. It is a very old Sunriver place that is in desperate need of a makeover and therefore feels dirty and shabby. Good location.

No Frills, Good Location

Quelah has not aged well since I came here when I was a child, but the location is still good and having your own pool in Sunriver is a huge plus for kids. The tennis courts are in major disrepair and the unit hasn't been updated at all, but overall it was fine for people who just wanted to escape the rain and be outside.

Needs a complete overhaul

Pictures look great but filled with garage sale quality beds, kitchen appliances and kitchen utensils. The only 2 large serving bowls were disposable plastic and had been run through the dishwasher so many times they were warped and cracking. You could feel the springs in the mattresses and the drains were so slow I had water up to my shins while taking a shower. the appliances are so old that you can't read the temperatures on the knobs, it was very difficult to cook anything. The BBQ is completely rusted out and falling apart. So not worth the money.

Warm and cozy in a winter storm

The condo is clean and comfortable. Plenty pots/pans/dishes/glasses/utensils. It was a little challenging to figure out the stove settings since it is all fuzzy. But that didn't stop us from cooking good meals. The property management is super responsive. One of the dryer knobs came off and we called Vacasa. Someone showed up in one hour (during weekend!) and even though he couldn't fix the problem he showed us a workaround so we could use the dryer. Very impressed.

Needs improvement

We had a great family vacation, location is ideal. We loved having a pool to ourselves most of the time, and enjoyed the tennis courts. The location was ideal... But, the reason for the two stars was because of the kitchen.. While the microwave and the refrigerator were new, the stove top and oven were unusable. We had hoped to bake bread, but we couldn't read any of the settings because everything was rubbed off. The kitchen itself was poorly stocked, we couldn't even find a spatula or sauce pan. One of the reasons for renting a house was to save money on in-house cooking... this unit definitely made that a challenge. Over all the unit just needs a good spring cleaning, we noticed the kid's feet were really dirty at night just from being in the house barefoot. And the bathrooms needs some TLC... The upstairs front bedroom needs a new mattresses. So that being said, we will definitely book again, just a different unit.
