I truly loved staying at this vacation rental. The size was perfect for our group, the location was about ten minutes from downtown Bend, and it was clean! My last vacation rental from another company was a horrendous experience and it left me worried about trying a rental again. This experience couldn't have gone better. Something was left behind and the owner was able to get it back for us. Would highly recommend this rental!

Great house

Second time we have stayed here. Great house with great hosts. Everything is always in good working order. Checking in is easy. Nice hot tub and ping pong table. Inside has a ton of room. Nice park down the street and close to downtown bend. Can’t wait to go back a third time.

Solid weekend stay

Overall it is a large enough house for larger groups and has the essentials without a luxurious feel. Close enough to downtown Bend to Uber or drive/carpool. No space for yard games. I did not see that the master bedroom does not have AC; I strongly suggest discounting 3 sleeping places in the summer, it was miserable up there. Also extra sleeping arrangements are mattresses on the floor. We chose to use air mattresses and the floor. The AC did not cool the large TV room either where others are supposed to sleep. Ran in to minor inconveniences like a broken dishwasher rack, TV sound system was not working properly, broken ping pong paddles, outdoor furniture hadn't been assembled (new); the host assured me they would have fixed these if I had spent the time to discuss, which I believe, but my priority is enjoying my vacation.

Bend gathering

We were a group of 50-somethings gathering for a 35 year reunion and while the size and space was great for a large group, it was on the whole a very disappointing experience. The house is most definitely a "party" house based on the overall conditions. This was verified by an Uber driver who referred to it as the house with all the bridal parties. The exterior of the house was a mess, with an overflowing dumpster, weeds, broken furniture, filthy windows, and uninstalled light fixtures. The interior was clean enough (with the exception of the stove area), but carpets and furniture are stained and need refreshing. Additionally, the interior shared spaces are quite dark and uninviting. When we contacted the owner about the conditions outside, she seemed surprised and said her husband had recently been there and all was well. When contacted again, she had found and explanation and said that the gutters had recently been replaced and that was the source of the mess and that the "good" furniture was in the garage. I sincerely doubt it, since the broken furniture was the same furniture in the photos online. She also suggested that they would have "remedied" the situation if I had contacted her while I was there - which I did and was brushed off. Also, the remedy would have required hiring gardeners to clean up the exterior spaces. We were confounded by the positive reviews of this place.

Large home just outside of town

Lovely and quite large home located about 8 miles from downtown Bend. It was quiet and peaceful and the house had more than everything needed for a fun spring break in Bend.

Secluded and private oasis yet super close to town

We rented this home for our two day Annual Event. We had seven people on our team; accommodations were perfect and beds were extremely comfortable! The best part for our group was the open feel and huge living room with a beautiful fire place - it was absolutely perfect for our event. Lorena was beyond accommodating and always responded within minutes. I will be booking this for our next annual event! Thank you Lorena!!

Great family gathering

We need a weekend place where our elderly parents could rest and our kids could let off some energy before and after a family wedding. The varying bed firmnesses worked just right for the needs of our family members. The hot tub and game room provided relaxation and entertainment in our down time, and we were grateful to be able to visit and take meals together before our long drives home in every direction. If only we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy the home and beautiful location.

Great location, a few issues

We really liked the isolated location, yet close drive to Bend and Redmond. The description mentioned an espresso machine, but there isn't one. We never got the Wii game to work. We had to use our own batteries in the controllers, too. The SSID for the wifi given to us was not correct. The password posted in the living room by the TV is not correct. There were no large, extra blankets for the king bed which made regulating your temperature at night more challenging. The comforter was too warm, but using only the sheet was too cold. We used two smaller blankets, one for each of us, which worked okay. Some of the light switches were in weird locations. The switch for a couple of kitchen flood light was never found, so we could turn off the lights. I know it sounds like a lot of complaints, but all in all we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and we would rent it again for a special occasion.

A great large house in a beautiful location.

This was an absolutely perfect place for our recent trip to bend. Everything was as expected, and the surrounding area is very beautiful. The only downside was the audio receiver had and error message due to some faulty wiring, so we could not play music throughout the house. But other than that, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!
