Great min vacation

We went to Bend for 4 nights. This studio was perfect for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed with the added sounds of the river out our window. Great location... close to everything!

Perfect Spot for a Weekend Getaway

We had a great visit to bend and this property was perfect. Clean, well equipped, recently remodeled, short and scenic walk to town. Communication with the managers was great and when we had a problem with the in-wall AC, they were able to wheel over a portable unit far faster than we expected. The only thing worth mentioning is that the unit has a Murphy bed. It's not as comfortable as a dedicated bed, but we still slept well. Thanks again. Great place. Highly recommend and would come back!

Did not receive what we paid for

It is with a lot of reluctance that I write this review. I have never written a negative review before today, but in this case I must do so, because the unit was not as advertised. First, the description on the VRBO website was incorrect. The VRBO website said that the unit: (a) is a studio with 3 beds, sleeps 4. Fact - There was a murphy bed and a pullout sofa. No third bed. (b) under the section "Rooms and Beds", it said that there was a common area and Bedroom 1. Fact - There was only a common area and no Bedroom 1. (c) the description said that it was a corner unit and that there were windows on the south wall and, together with the sliding glass door, there is a panoramic view of the Deschutes River. Fact - it is not a corner unit. There is a solid wall, without windows, adjacent to the next unit. There is a sliding glass door on the west wall that looks out onto a small balcony from which the Deschutes River can be seen, but there is no panoramic view. Second, the unit was not well maintained. (a) the burners on the stove do not lie flat and so the stove top is unusable, (b) the panel on the bottom of the refrigerator is missing, (c) the sliding door of the clothes closet was stuck and, therefore, the closet was unusable, (d) the lock on the sliding glass door to the balcony did not work and, therefore, we could not lock the door. During my stay, I complained to management, Bend Riverside Rentals, about these problems and I also told them that the unit was not worth the price that they were charging us. They said that they would not reduce the rate but that, if I decided to leave early, they would not charge me for any unused part of my stay. However, because we were there during the July 4 weekend, we could not find another rental on such short notice and, therefore, we stayed. Management did not address any of the maintenance issues that we notified them of. Additionally, after I complained regarding the inaccurate description of the unit, they changed the description. It now states that (a) it can sleep 2 people, and (b) the 8 foot glass door gives and incredible view of the Deschutes River. The current description no longer says anything about the additional window or that it is a corner unit, and no longer says that it can sleep 4 on 3 beds. I did not receive what I paid for, a corner unit with multiple windows and 3 beds. However, the view of the Deschutes River was beautiful and, therefore, I will give this unit 2 stars.

Worst Rental Experiance I've ever Had

We had multiple issues with the unit and overall it is not well kept and I would have rather stayed in a chain motel.The carpets had stains everywhere, cabinets had damage to them and everything was very dated. We found that there were no sheets or pillow cases for the couch sofa so we called and were told the manager that was supposed to be on site was 2 hours away and there was nothing they could do. My wife had to go to Walmart at 9:30 at night to buy a sheet set so my son had a place to sleep. Also, VRBO support said this was a minor issue (no pun intended). Not to mention the sofa bed was hard as a rock.Would not recommend this unit to anyone. The other condo units in this development may be better.Location and view was great minus the cigarette butt that was out on the patio.

Almost the best vrbo we've had

Loved our stay at this place. This trip was an adventure between jobs for us and we were excited to stay somewhere cozy, pretty, and walkable to good food/drink between longer day hikes. This spot ticked all the boxes and we had fun swimming in the heated pool and hot tub in November! We also really enjoyed being so close to the river and to the riverside greenway (I'm sure there's a more official name for it). Our walks into and out of town were lovely. I did notice in the reviews that the bed was supposedly uncomfortable-- I didn't think much of it as I backpack and camp often and it's a big part of my job; sleeping on the ground is no big deal to me. I've truly never experienced a mattress that I couldn't get along with-- until this one! I would wake up throughout the night with pins and needles on whatever side I was resting on; the mattress was that hard-- not firm or extra firm...straight hard. We eventually took the mattress out of the pull out and set it on top of the murphy bed mattress-- this worked great and we slept quite soundly from there. Had we needed both beds (more guests than just my husband and I), I doubt anyone would have slept much. Wonderful stay, I do highly recommend. Maybe bring an air mattress?

The view from the balcony was incredible! Being able to sit out and enjoy the view of the river and the sound, was so peaceful. Having a full kitchen was very beneficial as we got some groceries to cook and saved money. The only thing we didn't like was that sometimes we could hear neighbors inside of their rentals. Amazing stay and so clean.

Beautiful property

This condo is great. It has everything you need. The neighborhood outside the property isn't the greatest, but it was great to see the police patrolling the property. Our only disappointment was that the pool closed at 9pm which seemed quite early. We love Bend and can't wait to return.

Great Little Getaway

Perfect spot to get away, walk to restaurants, and listen to the river. If needed I would definitely stay here again.

View did not disappoint

This property location is perfect. The view of the Dechutes River was exactly as promised. Check in/ out were easy. Our only suggestion would be to supply 2 pillows/person capacity.

Great location

This was just what we needed in Bend. It's a simple studio with basic amenities and convenient parking. The best thing is the location -- right next to Pioneer Park with easy access to both directions of the Deschutes River Trail. We walked to Bend Brewing Company, 10 Barrel, downtown shops and other restaurants.
