Welcome to our cozy, updated Sunriver cabin—a modern, comfortable retreat tucked away on a quiet circle on Sunriver’s peaceful south end.
Designed with families in mind but just as comfortable for an adults-only getaway, our 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is a place where you can settle in, slow down, and enjoy everything that makes Sunriver special. Step directly from the property onto the bike path, spend the afternoon exploring on two wheels, come home for games and ping pong in the garage, then end the evening around the wood-burning fireplace.
We’ve stocked the house with many of the things we appreciate when traveling ourselves—from bikes and kids’ gear to a well-equipped kitchen, coffee station, games, books, baby equipment, and plenty to keep everyone entertained.
A MODERN, COZY SUNRIVER RETREAT
The home has been updated with a warm, modern cabin feel that fits right into its Central Oregon surroundings. Comfortable furnishings and cozy touches make it a place where you’ll actually want to spend time—not just somewhere to sleep between adventures.
The main living space is designed for gathering, with a wood-burning fireplace that makes the house especially cozy on chilly Sunriver mornings and snowy winter evenings.
After a day of skiing, biking, hiking, golfing, or exploring Central Oregon, build a fire, grab a game, turn on a movie, and settle in for the night.
With three TVs throughout the house plus an Xbox, everyone can spread out when a little downtime is needed.
CUSTOM BUNK ROOM
One of our favorite spaces in the house is the custom bunk room.
Kids love having a space that feels like their own, but we designed the bunks to comfortably accommodate adults as well. That makes the room equally useful for a family with children or a group of adults traveling together.
There are also children’s books and toys at the house, along with games for both kids and adults, so there are plenty of ways to spend a relaxed afternoon or evening at home.
FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN + COFFEE STATION
We want the kitchen to feel like a kitchen you can actually use.
It’s fully stocked for cooking meals at home, whether you’re making pancakes before a morning bike ride, packing lunches for a day of exploring, or preparing a big family dinner after skiing.
And because vacation mornings deserve good coffee, we have a dedicated coffee setup with several ways to make it:
• Traditional drip coffee maker
• Keurig
• French press
• Coffee grinder
• A few Keurig pods to get you started
Bring your favorite beans or coffee and make it exactly the way you like it.
MADE FOR FAMILY TRAVEL
Traveling with little kids usually means traveling with an incredible amount of stuff. We’ve tried to make that part a little easier.
At the house you’ll find:
• Bassinet
• Pack ’n Play
• High chair
• Baby gates
• Children’s books and toys
• Games for kids and adults
• Xbox
That means fewer bulky items to pack in the car and more room for the things you actually want to bring on vacation.
BIKES + GEAR FOR EXPLORING SUNRIVER
One of our favorite things about Sunriver is being able to get around by bike, and you can access the bike path directly from our property.
A private walkway behind the house connects you right to Sunriver’s extensive paved pathway system—no loading everyone into the car just to start a bike ride.
In the garage, guests can use:
• 2 adult bikes
• 2 kids’ bikes
• Two-child tow-behind bike trailer
• Child bike seat/carrier that mounts to the back of one of the bikes
• Kids’ scooter
• Helmets
• Radio Flyer folding wagon
Whether you have older kids riding alongside you, a little one riding on the back, or two small children in the trailer, we’ve tried to make it possible for the whole family to get out and explore.
The folding wagon is also handy for hauling kids and gear when you’re heading out for the day.
A GARAGE THAT’S ACTUALLY FUN
The garage isn’t just for storing bikes.
When everyone wants something to do closer to home, head out for a little friendly competition.
You’ll find:
• Ping pong table
• Pop-A-Shot basketball
• Cornhole
• Ladder golf
• Bocce ball
• Bikes and outdoor gear
It’s especially useful during those in-between moments—while dinner is cooking, when the kids still have energy to burn, or when Central Oregon weather changes your plans.
LARGE BACK DECK
When the weather is beautiful, the large back deck gives you another place to relax and spend time together.
There’s outdoor seating as well as a picnic table, making it easy to enjoy coffee outside in the morning, have lunch in the fresh air, or sit out while the kids play.
Behind the house, your walkway leads directly to the Sunriver bike path, so heading out for a walk or ride couldn’t be much easier.
FRONT PORCH SWING
Sometimes the simplest amenities end up being favorites.
Grab a cup of coffee and settle into the front porch swing in the morning, read a book, or simply enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood and the Central Oregon pines.
Because the home sits on a quiet circle on Sunriver’s south end, it feels tucked away from the busier parts of the resort while still giving you easy access to everything Sunriver has to offer.
FALL IN SUNRIVER
Fall is one of our favorite times to be here.
The days are comfortable for biking, hiking, golf, and exploring, while mornings and evenings become cool enough to make a wood fire feel especially good.
The summer crowds begin to thin, the air gets crisp, and Sunriver takes on a quieter pace.
Start the morning with fresh-ground coffee on the porch or back deck, head directly onto the bike path for a family ride, explore Sunriver or Bend during the afternoon, and come home to dinner, games, and a fire.
It’s an especially wonderful time for a relaxed Central Oregon getaway.
WINTER GETAWAYS
When snow arrives, the cabin becomes even cozier.
Spend the day skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor, playing in the snow, or exploring Central Oregon, then come home and warm up around the wood-burning fireplace.
Make dinner together, challenge someone to ping pong or Pop-A-Shot, let the kids play a game or watch a movie, and settle in for a quiet evening.
You don’t have to ski to enjoy Sunriver in winter, either. Snow-covered pines, peaceful walks, cozy mornings, and evenings by the fire can be reason enough to come.
SUMMER IN SUNRIVER
In summer, it’s hard to stay inside.
Sunriver’s miles of paved bike paths make it incredibly easy to explore as a family, and having direct access from behind the house means you can simply grab a bike and go.
Take the adult bikes out together, bring the kids on their own bikes, put two little ones in the trailer, or use the child carrier for a younger rider.
Beyond Sunriver, Central Oregon offers seemingly endless opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, golf, fishing, paddling, floating the river, visiting the Cascade Lakes, and exploring Bend.
Then head back to the house, relax on the deck, play some yard games, and enjoy a long Central Oregon evening.
SOMETHING TO DO WITHOUT LEAVING HOME
Not every vacation day needs an itinerary.
Some of our favorite Sunriver moments are the simple ones.
Make a big breakfast.
Drink coffee on the porch swing.
Take the bikes out after breakfast.
Come home for lunch and downtime.
Let the kids play while the adults relax.
Start a ping pong tournament.
See who has the best Pop-A-Shot score.
Play cornhole, ladder golf, or bocce outside.
Choose a board game.
Build a fire.
Put on a movie.
And do it all again tomorrow.
We’ve tried to make the house somewhere you can enjoy your vacation even when you aren’t out exploring.
A GREAT HOME BASE FOR CENTRAL OREGON
There’s plenty to experience beyond Sunriver, too.
Use the house as your home base for exploring Bend, Mt. Bachelor, the Deschutes River, the Cascade Lakes and the incredible trails, mountains, rivers, and volcanic landscapes surrounding Central Oregon.
Depending on the season, spend your days skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, paddling, floating, exploring—or doing absolutely nothing.
Then return to a quiet neighborhood and a comfortable home at the end of the day.
GREAT FOR FAMILIES—WITHOUT FEELING LIKE A “KIDS’ HOUSE”
We’ve put a lot of thought into making the home easy for families, but we also want it to feel like a relaxing getaway for adults.
Baby equipment, toys, bikes, games, and kid-friendly sleeping spaces are there when you need them. The modern cabin style, cozy living spaces, wood-burning fireplace, deck, coffee setup, and peaceful location make it just as enjoyable for couples, friends, or adults traveling together.
The custom bunk room can sleep adults, so you don’t have to be traveling with children to make full use of the home.
WHY WE LOVE THIS SPOT
Our location on a quiet circle on the south end of Sunriver gives the house a peaceful, tucked-away feeling.
There’s no need to walk down the street looking for an entrance to the pathway system. Our own walkway behind the house connects directly to the Sunriver bike path, making spontaneous walks and bike rides easy.
That combination—a quiet home base with direct access to one of the best parts of Sunriver—is one of our favorite things about the house.
