Decent property, terrible property management

TLDR - A good property run by a fundamentally inept property management company that severely cuts costs and uses low quality cleaning services. Pros: - Property has good amenities - Property is in a good location - Plenty of space - Excellent, newly renovated master bathroom Cons: - Vacasa provides poor service fitting a much cheaper property - Vacasa’s cleaning crew did an incredibly poor job, we came to the house and were immediately met with a full garbage can with rotting meat and ice cream. We have never arrived to a house where the housekeeping didn’t take trash with them. There was a pair of used, dirty women’s underwear stuffed in the couch. There were dishes under the beds and razors left behind from previous guests. The floors were sticky with some sort of glue when we walked in. - Vacasa uses the cheapest possible materials for the house. The house came with tiny bars of soap, and absolutely no shower gels or other toiletries. This is below the standard we have come to expect. - House comes with one bike, do not be fooled by the photo containing seven bikes. - Be careful when walking on the deck, one of our members was walking and a piece of the deck broke underneath him. This caused him to fall and hurt himself.

We had everything we needed, in this nice vaulted spacious home. Love the updated master bath. Mattresses need updated. Loved the hot tub and SHARC passes! Thanks so much for the late check out so we could go one last time!

A nice place to stay😁

The BBQ was terrible, they replaced it on the first night. The first two pans I tried to use to cook my dinner were dirty and I had to wash before I could cook dinner. Two of my guests got glass in their foot from the downstairs bathroom floor not being cleaned well enough after the prior guest. The vanity lights in the master bathroom are quite dim. Not enough light to see. The beds we’re comfortable. Two bikes had bad brakes. Wear shoes on the deck as there are lots of nail heads. The location was a bit of a distance from the main features of Sunriver. It was a big price for cleaning considering the condition we arrived to. The carpet needs shampooing.

Charmed & Peaceful Beautu

A lot of little bumps in the road at first--my code wouldn't work, someone had to come and turn on the garbage disposal (switch under the sink), allow me to turn the heat up (it was set "away"), tell me where key is to inlock the hot tub and change the sheets. They came right away or the next day and solved everything and for the next two weeks I fell in love with the house and Sunriver. Bend and so many amazing parks are 10 min away. The house & hot tub were great to come home to and relax in. Very satisfied.

Gas grill does not heat beyond medium so unable to cook steak and burgers properly. Skillet in kitchen has no cord. Hot tub jets squirted water high over the deck and had to repeatedly be filled with water. Pot in kitchen are warped and unusable. No remote for TV to enable closed captioning. Stain in carpet in master bedroom, bathroom.

SunRiver Fun

House had everything we needed. It is a little dated and does not have air conditioning. The deck and hot tub are amazing. BBQ Grill was filthy. Overall we had a great time.

Met our needs -family of 7

Positives: Good house for a small family, perfect location in a quiet cul de sac. Great upper deck and outdoor seating, huge dining room table for game playing, nice open floor plan for gathering, vaulted ceilings also make house feel bigger. Highlight of the house for us was the upper deck hot tub with amazing view of the summer night sky! Needs improvement: Kitchen needs updating and a good cleaning of pots/pans and dishes before new guests arrive; and at least one deep frying pan, some bbq utensils would also be a good addition. Garage felt super dirty too - could have made a huge difference in feel if it had just been swept up from the guests before. Dryer takes forever to get clothes dry.

Great house for the family

WE enjoyed our extended stay at this home. Nice updates in the master bathroom. Kitchen had everything needed. the only thing that would have made it great would have been an electric tea kettle to speed up the process for tea. The location is perfect. Close to swimming, biking and all the beautiful sights to see in the area. Just a few downsides: The washer and dryer are the eco type so you can only wash small loads and for some reason the dryer wouldn't dry the clothes after one session. It took two and sometimes three rounds of drying to get it dry. The bed sheets and blankets smelled, felt, and looked old and used. It was a little unpleasant sleeping in them so it would be nice if those could be updated. Other than those two downsides we enjoyed the place. We would come again. :)

Outdated with desperate need for updated appliances and mattresses. If you can, bring your own pillo

It would be nice if the dryer worked since it’s listed as an amenity. Do not wash anything unless you plan on taking everything home wet.

House is good but has need of some maintenance.

We generally enjoyed the home and our stay. There were however some maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The down stairs bath, functions for two bedrooms, fan is very noisy and does not work. The shower door doesn’t slide well. The bees nest under the hot tub lead to a painful sting. Some shades in living area are falling apart and are unusable in the down position. This is an older home that was built without air conditioning more suitable to skiing season than the hot times.

Comfortable home, in need of a little TLC

Fine location. Nice to have three queen beds (for three couples/no kids). We had a good time over the July 4th holiday. The house itself needs some attention. Examples: Only two of the four burners on the stove top worked (we called and a maintenance person came out the same day but couldn't fix the problem for two more days). The microwave didn't work at all (we figured out the circuit breaker had flipped). Two of the window blinds are broken so were permanently down. You need to wear shoes when out on the deck because of raised nail heads. One window is off its track and won't move....those sorts of things. Nothing major, but we began to say "Add it to the list" when we discovered something else amiss. It's our own fault in not paying attention to the listing, but this house doesn't have AC, and without AC it was warm inside by the end of the day (79 degrees) even though we lowered blinds, ran the overhead fan, and opened windows as the outside temperature cooled. Something to pay attention to. We were out of the house during the day (enjoying Sunriver activities) so not a big deal. But if you want to hang out at the house, know that it gets warm inside on warm days. We brought out own bikes and never got in the hot tub, so can't speak of those amenities. We love our visits to Sunriver.

Tired and in need of repairs!

We just checked out of this house yesterday and I'm so disappointed! Our decision to stay here was based heavily on previous guest reviews, but I'm left wondering if we stayed in the same house because the one we stayed in should not be rated any higher then 2 stars. The house we stayed in was tired and in desperate need of repairs! My husband put it best when he said "this was probably a nice house back in 1985", but I'm fairly certain it has not been updated (with the exception of the master bathroom) or serviced since. To start, the house was deeply dirty! On the surface it was tidy so I'm pretty sure a cleaning crew had flew through, but we got the hebe jebes almost immediately upon arrival. We have two crawling babies and every time we would pick them up off the floor they where covered in crap... Think like an everything bagel, except instead of yummy onion, garlic and seeds they were covered in dirt, hair and some previous guests sunflower seeds (no joke). Gross!!!! The master bedroom did have an updated bathroom, which was visually nice, but all the nice was over-shadowed by the clogged shower. I only used the master shower once because I couldn't stomach the idea of standing in a previous guests back-water. Instead, we used the basement shower, but even that shower had issues; the shower door was broken. My other beef with the master suit was the blinds. There was 3 or 4 blades missing so the room was never fully dark without hanging a blanket over the gap. The kitchen was stocked nicely with kitchen supplies/utensils, however the appliances were in rough shape. In particular the kitchen stove... I'm pretty sure it predates my 1984 birth. The heating was inconsistent and one of the main burners did not work so when we went to cook a breakfast feast for our group we had to "make-do". Oh and don't over look (like we did) the fact that the house is old and does not have AC. It has poor insulation and the property has zero shade so anytime the outside temp was above 85, the house was miserably HOT!!!! One positive aspect was the house was the layout. I did like that the master was separate from the other two guest rooms, (which were in the basement). It was perfect for our multi-families-under-one -roof stay. Moral of my review... beware! This house is WAY over priced and in desperate need of repair!!!!

Great overall layout and house is very clean

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean. The house is definitely worn and needs some updates, clearly a rental. Windows (and blinds) and the kitchen cabinets are in the most need. Great selection of bikes. Master bathroom has been remodeled, I did make note to Vacasa that they absolutly need to replace the master bathroom with brighter bulbs, very very dark. Very disappointed that there were no lounge chairs on the patio only a metal table with metal chairs. We had to go buy some at walmart. Do note no air conditioning.
