Snowmobile trip

As presented. Plenty of beds for multiple people. Kitchen set up well. Parking was plentiful. No problems during the stay. Very warm and comfortable. I would recommend this property for large groups. Pool table and hot tub were used. Ping pong in garage. Enjoyed our stay. Owners made it very easy. Communicated well. Thanks.

Great house for family fun in Sunriver!

This house worked extremely well for our active family of 14 (4 couples and 6 children ages 3-8). The location on a semi-private cul-de-sac and the large deck area provided ample, worry-free outdoor play space for kids; proximity to bike/walk trail and provided bikes/joggers were both big priorities for us- as was SHARC access for our whole group- allowing us all to bike and swim daily! We loved the spacious options for indoor & outdoor dining and the well-stocked kitchen and extra fridge. The 4 King bed rooms for adults and the kids sleeping room were big hits -providing plenty of space for all 14 of us. And we really appreciated our host Melanie. The house was everything promised in the listing, access was easy and seamless, and Melanie was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. Such a great fit for us! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!!

Family reunion

We were in Sunriver for a family reunion and actually had 5 houses full of family! This house slept a lot of people and had a well equipped kitchen. Melanie was super easy to work with and responded to our questions very quickly. The kids loved the Shark and riding bikes! We used the park for the large family gatherings and it worked out great!

Family Reunion

We gathered our family together for the first time in over 2 years: 8 adults, 6 kids ages 1-7. The house was perfect for us: spacious, lovely, very well stocked. We enjoyed the ping pong and pool tables, bikes and scooters, SHARC passes, decks and surrounding paths and river. It was a special time for us all.

Great time in Sunriver!

I came down with my Frisbee team and stayed at Melanie's house. It was great! We loved the hot tub the pool table and ping pong, riding bikes on the beautiful trails of Sunriver, and the open concept main floor that let us cook and spend time together. Thanks!

Great house, lots of bikes, perfect for family reunion

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Melanie was very responsive to our needs. Check in was easy. The kitchen was well equipped with all utensils, pots/pans, etc to cook & serve a large family. The hot tub & the pool table room were used almost every night. Our biggest challenge was beds. The house was listed to sleep 18, we had 14 adults (only because one family of 4 couldn’t join us) and yet we did not have enough beds for everyone. You can’t expect 3 adults to sleep in the same bed. We also felt that some kind of zoned cooling system would be appropriate. The downstairs rooms were freezing, yet upstairs were warm at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this wonderful house, just be advised you can’t sleep 18 people here.

Family Vacation

The house was clean and spacious for our family of 16. We had 10 adults and six kids ranging from 13 years to 9 months of age. Lots of activities within minutes of the house. Our family enjoyed the pool table, bikes (lots to choose from), large porch and hot tub. The house was stocked with plenty of bath towels and dishes for cooking and meal times. Our family really enjoyed our stay here.

We Love Sunriver!

The house was great and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Decks are awesome, beds were very comfortable. Great hot tub. Kids and adults had a lot of fun with the pool table and ping pong. Bikes are in okay shape - they did the job. Very comfortable house and Sunriver is so much fun!

Great weekend getaway!

We rented this house to celebrate our daughters 16th birthday with a couple of her friends. It's a gorgeous house with a really fun layout. They loved the pool table, hot tub, SHARC passes and little tucked away bedroom up on the top floor. They also took advantage of the bikes in the garage (there are quite a few) and took a short bike ride. The area seemed like a nice quiet spot, however the weather was quite cold while we were there so wasn't a lot of outdoor activity going on. A couple things I'd point out...the house is at the northern end of Sunriver so getting to the pool or shopping area is about a 10 minute drive. Also, I'd guess it was built in the late 80's so it's showing it's age a bit (cabinets in rough shape, 'interesting' flooring in the bathrooms, etc) but not so much that it was any big deal. Overall, this was a great house with a great owner and we'd definitely rent it again!

Home owner tried to cancel our stay mid trip

I have rented many vacation rentals across many states and have never experience a host with such a lack of professionalism and impulse control. Our experience was going mostly well until the host confused a trailer part for a screen door and threw an absolute temper tantrum resulting in our whole group being forced to leave the mountain early as she threatened to evict all of us instantaneously. This resulted in hundreds if not thousands of dollars lost on lift tickets and gear rentals, in addition to the loss of time together on the mountain. What followed was a multitude of threats based on a complete lack of rational thought and action. When the police were called to the house to “remove all of our things,” we were allowed to stay as we had not violated the contract and immediate eviction was not only not allowed, but also not warranted. Even after this we still received extreme passive aggression and a continued lack of professionalism. The morning of checkout as we were packing up we noticed someone who we can assume to be either the owner or a friend of hers filming us, well before the checkout time, presumably in an attempt to further verbally assault us and make unsubstantiated claims.
