Nice house, small kitchen

the house was spacious and great for children with a separate bunk room with couch and TV for them to take over. Kitchen was the least satisfactory part, quite old with loud, squeaky cupboards, older warped pans and cutting boards, not enough glassware for our group. Also the kitchen is on the small side, and the refrigerator blocks the entry when open, so lots of squeezing by and crowded. Nice back yard as described.

Sun river get away

My dad lives in Lapine and we stay in Sun River when we visit him this is our second VRBO and we loved the property, absolutely stunning, serene and peaceful! I definitely would highly recommend John’s property. It is perfect for families and a couple of families the way that they have it set up. Thank you, John. You were a very responsive host.

Great family friendly stay in Sunriver

We enjoyed our stay in Sunriver. The home was well set up for guests. We loved all the labels and the host had a very helpful guide in the house that told us everything we needed to know to take care of the house. It also had extra things like plastic dishes, toys and games for kids of all ages. Additionally, the house was very well stocked with bathroom and kitchen amenities. The backyard was lovely. My only critique was that not all of the bikes were in the best shape. A couple of them were completely un-rideable and a couple them needed some work.

4 generations of family

We had 4 different families and 4 generations all under 1 roof. We needed a single level home to accommodate the toddlers and this fit the bill perfectly. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. One of the bikes had a trailer, so we were able to take 2 kids to the Fort Rock Park on bike while a few of the adults played pickleball. We all agreed we loved the house and we hope to book it again in the future!

Exactly as described

We had 10 friends/family members stay in this home for 5 days. What a retreat- exactly like the photos, easy self check-in, prompt/clear communication from host. It was centralized location to spending time in Bend but also an abundance of opportunity for activity in the home and in Sunriver. The kitchen was well stocked for a large group who cooks A LOT. Definitely looking forward to coming back and spending more time here!

Great House & Host!

Beautiful property! We loved the house and all of the amenities. The large private backyard was the real summer bonus. We enjoyed lounging on the lawn and the outdoor dining table was large enough to fit our family. The kids felt right at home in the bonus room and the murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable! Thank you John for being the most thoughtful host!

Great stay again

This was our second year at the house for an annual moms and sons trip. Great setup - teens love the big bonus room and the outdoor area for cornhole. Host is great and super responsive when we’ve had questions. Our boys are graduating this year so probably our last group stay. Thank you John!!

Amazing set up - perfect for our family vacation!

Great property! Fit our family perfectly. We had endless fun and tired out even the teens with pickleball, biking, ping pong, corn hole, tubing down the deschutes river and hot tubbing. Thank you John for creating such a wonderful, fun space for family reunion!!

President's Day Long Weekend Fun!

The property and communication with the owner exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect set-up for 2 adults and 6 teenagers for a long weekend ski vacation. We already look forward to returning.

Great property and great owner!

We had a fantastic stay at this new listing. The owner has truly thought of everything! Very clean, good linens and plenty of tools in the kitchen. Owner was in touch and responded right away when we had questions. We are already talking about coming back next year!

Great place for family fun - would surely return!

Lots of room for the family both inside and outside with a great backyard and an attractive waterfall. Kitchen was well equipped, along with plenty of towels and amenities for the house. The children loved the ping pong table, video machine and the bunk bed room with lots of beds, and of course the visits to nearby SHARQ with all the complimentary passes. Everyone in our large family made wonderful memories in this stay at this home. We plan to return.
