While the location of this property was great (right across from the SHARC), and we liked the layout of the house, the numerous problems we encountered were not worth staying at this particular house in the future.
Most important, the loft with the queen bed has a giant stained glass window without a window covering. This means that when the sun rises at 4 a.m...so do you. Also, the bed doesn't appear to have ever been replaced, and provided me with the worst night's sleep in my entire life. My husband and I both sagged towards each other in the middle, and our backs were killing us in the morning from the broken soft mattress.
When we arrived the thermostat was broken (and the high was about 55 degrees). I checked the kitchen for a pan to cook my son eggs in the morning, and found that the only frying pans were either rusted through, or super small. I called about both issues, and was told at 8:30 p.m. that someone would call me back in about 15 minutes. At 9:20 I finally got a call (that went straight to voicemail since my phone flips to DND at 9pm) and the man left a message that he'd be at our house in 20-30 minutes. At 10:20 he finally arrived and brought space heaters. No pan, so the next morning we couldn't cook the eggs we had brought my son for breakfast (thankfully we had an extra bagel).
We found out that unlike any of the other Vacasa places we've stayed at, this house doesn't provide coffee, which was another unwelcome surprise. I called again in the morning to ask about the pan and thermostat, and was told someone would call me soon. I let them know that we also noticed that the deadbolt was broken, and they said they'd let someone know about that too. A little while later, two men showed up to fix the thermostat, so we had strangers in the house as we were getting ready to go out for the day. We finally had to leave with them in the house with all of our stuff.
When we returned in the afternoon the thermostat was fixed, but still no frying pan and the deadbolt to the house still didn't work. I called again about both issues and was told that they'd never heard about the frying pan (this was the third or fourth time I'd asked for a frying pan). They sent over a brand new frying pan (that worked great) a few hours later, and two more men showed up to fix the lock right when we were leaving for dinner. They installed a new lock, that again didn't work as we found out later. The house was also covered with cobwebs.
