We stayed at this property as a group of 10, two families with small children, and experienced multiple issues that made it unsuitable. The house has amazing seaviews which are beautiful and you can drive to so many amazing places from the house.Parking was very difficult, with no off-road option i asked if we could park througj the side gate and was told not available. very limited street spaces on a steep hill, often far from the house. Ongoing building work opposite added noise and reduced parking further.The layout was not family-friendly, with no suitable shared space. The main TV was small and outdated with no streaming services. A second TV in the basement was unusable due to damp smell and no heating. The downstairs bedroom also had the damp odour.The property felt outdated overall; shutters didn’t open properly and would slam shut, and internal doors creaked, jammed, and caused noise at night.There were not enough towels initially, and those provided were thin and worn. No bath mats made bathrooms slippery, and no tea towels were supplied. Maintenance issues included a broken hob ring and a washing machine that wouldn’t complete a cycle. Kitchen items were lacking, with no cereal bowls and chipped plates. We decided to leave a day early just because it was pretty dark in the house and uncomfortable i notified the property manger. She was very helpful. I then found the deposit was not refunded promptly; i waited eight days and complained to receive it.
