"Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience."

"An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! "This place was amazing. The view of the wilderness was awesome. We stayed in the Firewatch villa and had a front row seat to various birds with a great view. We took a guided tour of the property and saw 4 waterfalls, a hawk and had a private lunch at the secret pool with another waterfall and hammock. The staff was amazing. "WE loved the quiet place!WE loved it also because it's not the Resort/Tourist area but the traditional area,a bit far from the city to enjoy a quiet place but close enough to go to the city center to eat and enjoy a drums concert!Nice Hosts who advised us a nice trip renting their little boat or renting kayak to go to the laguna which is very close.we loved also the Kismet Inn because of the host'paintings,chairs and hamacks to relax!Great to relax! "This beautifully designed lodge, on 4000 acres, is a unique experience. 107 free range horses, parrots, monkeys add to the ambience. Large , comfortable a/c rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant ,and lovely pool, make for a memorable stay. Convenient to many sites. Owner’s wife is an excellent artist and has a gallery there. Family run and in a fairly remote location so we saw enormous, 5 ft. orange iguanas along the river (take binoculars to see them better) and heard the howlers in the area. "Simple and quiet, comfortable beds. Dirt road going in which is bumpy. You will have to DIY your adventures or use guides. In the bush is pretty accurate. "
