"We make a trip to this part of NY every Fall to visit with family, and this has been our favorite house so far! Cute and cozy, had everything we needed and more. The kids love the hot tub, and the dog loved the big back yard. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. "We always enjoy staying at Colleen's cabin and are grateful that she opens it for guests! It's a well-done hunting cabin that has a lot more comforts than others in the area. "We had a great time staying here as a family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds and the cozy play corner up in the loft. So much natural lighting! "If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, Halvorsen House is the place to choose! Just a few minutes from the north entrance of Letchworth, it gave us a perfect landing place each evening. Tons of great space inside and outside for either gathering or spreading out. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck and ending our evening around the firepit. Thank you for giving us such a comfortable and clean home for our visit!"

"Check-in process and communication was excellent from the start. We were able to start enjoying our stay immediately upon arrival. Communication during our stay and at the end was equally as positive. Quick and helpful information was always provided. The pictures of the cabin and immediate area do not do this cabin/surrounding area enough justice. It is beautiful, rustic, and warm. Fishing at the Big Pond was awesome. My family and I had an amazing time and can’t wait to return. "

"Our family loved our stay. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. We booked due to the location between Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks for our hiking vacation and were pleasantly surprised to find out there were miles of trails through the forest behind the cabin included with the property. We easily took several day trips in the area, enjoying the sites nearby- Letchworth State Park, Stoney Brook State Park, Corning and the Museum of Glass, Seneca Falls and the National Women's Hall of Fame, Six Flags Darian Lake and the Arcade & Attica Steam Railroad. The decor was lovely and the kitchen fully outfitted. We loved our stay!"
