A wonderful get-a-way…
My husband and I wanted to get out of Denver and spend a couple of relaxing days in the mountains. We were so pleased with the warmth, comfort and layout of the cabin/home. The attention to details was impressive including the “amber” soft lighting (however, bright were it need to be), living room and porch furniture, equipped kitchen and so much more. Couldn’t of asked more for a quiet, relaxing get-a-way.

Great Stay!
Everything was just as advertised, clean, comfy, and beautiful! Stacie Jo was very communicative. Another member of our party needed to check in as I was going to be late to the reservation and she was able to send me instructions so we experienced no issues whatsoever.

Almost to nice
Place was better than I was expecting. This was not a bad thing. Looking for an outing for a father and son get away. Wanted to rough it a little but the place was accommodated very well and my son really appreciated that. The location was great and only had to travel a little to get to the lakes near by, to fish, hike, and do a little mountain climbing. Also the local restaurant was great after putting a full day in at the lake. Thank you, Stacie Jo for providing such a beautiful clean place to relax and get away from it all.

Time with grandkids
Wonderful! The kids Netflix made after dinner movies and popcorn a great time. Many games of Uno and Sorry were so fun during the rainy days. Super cozy and comfy cabin. We will be back before school starts!!

Overall nice place
We looked forward to staying again! Wish the gate on front porch opened the opposite direction, can make bringing large items in the house challenging. There was a silver sauce cooking pan with water on porch when we got there, didn’t know if it belonged in kitchen or was there for a reason? So we left it. Kitchen sink drain/garbage disposal was slimy and needs attention. Silverware drawer has a lot of crumbs, so do the drawers. Coffee pot needs cleaning. First bathroom down the hall on right had pink rings in sink & tub around drain. Bathtub had dead skin ring in the tub. Walls need wiped down. Night stand in the bedroom at end of hall on the right had lots of dust & hair bunnies( didn’t know if someone was coming or going)😉 Overall the cabin was comfortable, just needs some attention! I wasn’t at cabin as much as other two guest. I did get to see 4 mountain goats climbing the rocks on the hill across the street for a good fifteen minutes. Baby bunnies playing next door in the bushes. Thank you!

I'm so sorry Cheryl you did not find my cabin exceptionally clean. I wasn't able to clean it myself and hired a company that came highly recommended. Needless to say, I won't be using them again and am back to cleaning it myself. Unfortunately the gate cannot physically open out safely due to the design. I had the garbage disposal fixed prior to your stay. It has been working, dry and clean since so I'm not sure what happened. If you choose to book with me in the future, I will promise the high standards that you have experienced in the past with staying at my cabin!

Everything was amazing! The only issue I had was with having no cell phone service to make calls or receive them!! The wifi was very sporadic! It was constantly rebooting, and we couldn't get any reception to watch tv!TV!! That is my only complaint!! Will be recommending my friends to visit!

Just what we needed

Cozy & clean cabin!
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the condiments in the refrigerator and coffee available for guests. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Poudre Canyon is absolutely beautiful. We stayed there for our adult son’s 100k race, Never Summer, which started in Gould. It was a 40 minute drive to the start but it was worth it to have comfortable furniture, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms with running water instead of camping! :) Stacie Jo was a gracious host!

Beautiful house
The house has charm to it. We rented this to be close to a wedding venue. Glen Echo right down this street is a must stop. The owner was wonderful in answering all of my questions. If you are on the fence book it, you will not be disappointed

A Great Colorado Mountain Cabin

Exceptionally nice cabin in a very pretty location
"Cabin" implies something small and compromised. This was anything but! The cabin was large and comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, full kitchen, large TV and cozy furniture to watch it from, desk, dining room, and all the little convenient extras to make your stay great. Exquisitely clean, too! The surrounding countryside is awesome, with steep slopes and the roaring Cache la Poudre river nearby.

First weekend of November

Great vacation
We rented this home for our vacation. It was perfect for our needs. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was ideal. This home has everything for a comfortable stay. It has great views from the porch. We actually didn’t use the kitchen much (even though it had everything needed to cook a meal) because there is a great restaurant just down the road. I would highly recommend this property.

Nice, clean cabin.
The cabin was just as described and very clean upon our arrival. Our bed was very comfortable. I only communicated with the owner once or twice before our trip but she replied promptly and answered all my questions. The home is in a small neighborhood and backs up to the state highway but there was little traffic after dark.

Lovely, cozy home away from home!
Our stay here was brief but enjoyable. We've been visiting the Red Feather Lakes since I was a child, and it was great to have the comforts of home after a long day of fishing and exploring. There were some minor issues with cleanliness (dirty water in the coffee maker, a container of spoiled food left by a previous guest, food stuck to the outdoor grill), but overall, a very clean and comfortable little cabin.

I totally apologize for the overlooked items. Where was the leftover food? We always thoroughly clean out the refrigerator and freezer. And we check the bbq grill first thing. I am embarrassed that these items were overlooked. Regarding the coffee maker, I am in the process of upgrading to a Krups Coffeemaker. Please accept my sincere apologies!

Restart your soul
The place was perfect. It was beautiful out there. You can hear the river but not too loud. Seriously, perfect. Wonderful wildlife around. House had everything you need to have some rest and quality time with the family. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic getaway on scenic 14
After staying, we were shocked that this property was available for us and not already booked. The house was clean and in order with snacks, toiletries, and linens ready to go. The small fenced yard, backyard stream, and dog bowls tucked away in a drawer will surely mean we bring the dog with us next time. We hung the provided hummingbird feeder from the front deck and had visitors almost immediately and all week. The master with adjoining bathroom looks over scenic 14, and you can hear the roaring Poudre River from the front porch. This is a nice little neighborhood, but the houses aren’t too close together. The restaurant down the way is a hidden gem, and the short 45 minutes to Fort Collins make for a beautiful drive. Don’t overlook this amazing property with gracious hosts. We hope to be back soon!
