Precious little cabin

We had the privilege of staying at this precious little cabin that was well stocked and clean! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and seclusion. We will 100% be back to visit in the aummer months.

Cabin with a view

We highly recommend this property. We had a great time staying at this property it had everything we needed and more. The deck with the view is amazing.

Short stay in Bells

The space was perfect for just the two of us! Far enough away to be quiet, but still close enough to everything to be convenient. Only downside was not a lot of seating and the internet connection was awful.

Great place to stay!

Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The cabin is charming and has everything you could need. The porch overlooking the pond is wonderful. The instructions for accessing the property were easy to follow and hassle free. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Its a wonderful place to stay and enjoy some peaceful time with loved ones.

Beautiful Getaway Location

This lake side cabin is beautiful and very peaceful. It's got close access to everything you need and there's a nearby Safari Park (though watch out for the ostriches - lol). We'll definitely go back.

Small group,weekend getaway

We loved everything from the outdoors to the indoors. Nice, quiet, and peaceful. Just wish they didn't have a property management company and you could speak to the owners ,instead of the management company. Other than that, it was an awesome place. I would absolutely return.

REBooked Before Leaving

This property is so insanely beautiful!!! Such a place of peace and relaxation. My fife & I stayed at the cabin. It was so perfect! Such a priceless view. We fell in love with the Homestead. Our last day their we spoke with Angela and booked the entire property for a Spring Break Cousin Camp (Whole Family Vacay). We are so excited. See you in the Spring!!!!

Above and beyond

I was not expecting so much when I rented the cabin. They had everything you need. Everything for fishing, kayaking, campfire and board games. Safe to say I cannot wait to come back. The woman employee was also a gem with helping us finding things we needed. 11/10

3 day stay

The cabin was nice, but it was hit a/c didn’t work well also had only 1 towel the bed wasn’t made just had the sheets thrown on the bed. Very disappointing I have stayed in many places but this was the worst by far.

Ok

We rented both cabins on the property for our family. In addition to the Pavillion, there is another house on the property that is not shown in pictures and is rented by the employees or cleaning people. We talked to her, she was very nice and was gone the whole time we were there but we weren't aware of that. Also, we never got a set of keys for this rental. My husband asked her about it and she said "I have some, you don't have to lock things up around here". The toilet had a lot of issues with flushing and when you do flush or use water, there is strong sewage smell very close to the pavilion. 1 bathroom in the pavilion didn't work and the other could have used a good cleaning. The A/C is still having issues cooling the place. The shower floor also needs some attention. We had a fun time and it all worked out just a few things to think about.

Needs some updating and tlc

We enjoyed the location of this property but it appears it’s been neglected all around from listings to actual space. 1. Two different WiFi passwords are posted (online and in book) neither work. When I inquired the one I was given didn’t work either. 2. Toilet flushing was an issue during entire stay. 3. Windows were smudged up pretty bad all around unit. 4. Was charged twice the posted pet fee - when I inquired I was told that was an outdated fee and asked if we could meet in the middle of the two different cost. 5. AC struggles to cool the unit. 6. Dishwasher has a sign on it that it doesn’t work. I’d steer clear of this unit if you want comforts of a typical rental house thru Vrbo.

Family Thanksgiving Stay

My family reserved the entire Homestead for our Thanksgiving get to together. I can't say enough good about this unique place to stay. Reservation, communication and accomodations were excellent. Each cabin was clean, stocked with all the essentials, and many extras including games and WIFI. The small lake gave opportunities for the grandchildren to kayak and fish. We will reserve the Homestead for future family plans.

When you need to unplug

My daughters (10, 8) love staying at this property! The catch-and-release fishing is always a big hit, as are the many board games, and campfire s’mores, and they love the bedroom loft (accessible via attic stairs in the bathroom). This ain’t the city so there aren’t very many food options just around the corner, but Jackson is close enough to not require extensive planning. I have been told the wifi is coming to the cabin soon (it’s already in the main house), and that will be a nice addition for those that may need to do a little work during the stay. The owners are extremely nice and very responsive, so book with confidence!
