We loved the space, amenities and location. It was the perfect place for us. The hosts were extremely responsive and welcoming. We will definitely request to stay again on future trips through Bellingham.

This place with a quaint vintage heritage ambience was pleasant to stay at. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the unique amenities. The actual experience did not quite match the flowery prose of the profile (the living room for instance was small with no window to look out of and the dining room chairs were uncomfortable), but we really enjoyed the central location and oldy worldly vibe of the place.

Mom's Get Away

The space was clean, cozy, comfortable and pleasing on the eyes. We all appreciated the very special care given in every room. The teas and coffee and local products in the bathroom were decadent and generous. David greeting us was attentive and kind. Beds were super comfortable, flexible temperature and lighting were greatly appreciated.

Just what we needed!

The home was perfect for our stay. Walking distance to Bellingham restaurants and shops and a few minutes drive to Fairhaven. The home had everything we needed. The beds were so comfy. We would stay again.

Cozy upstairs unit close to downtown

We spent two nights here in December and enjoyed the property very much. It is nicely decorated and has a very cozy vibe. We would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Bellingham.

great funky place

Close to downtown, and really close to great coffee, this place is meticulously kept and furnished with all manner of teas, spices, drink mixes, lotions, etc. it is old and funky but well done! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyable stay with suggestions

The pluses: great location, property as advertised, nice amenities, comfortable beds, quaint with lots of character The minuses: confusing TV remotes, wall colours dark and gloomy and sponge painting on walls and furniture very dated and not heritage. Maybe consider brightening things up. Bedside lamps/overhead light in master very dim. Outside area overgrown and unkempt.

Spa retreat during a business trip

I was in Bellingham on business. Working long hours, I looked forward to arriving home each evening to this quiet retreat. I took advantage of the old fashioned claw tub and the assortment of local aromatherapy all natural spa products. Bath salts, body scrub, lotions, body and fsce cleansers, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, room spray and so much more. Pure heaven. The kitchen was well equipped. Fresh ground coffee in a French press (provided) and even treats for my doggies. They enjoyed the gated yard and doggie blankets. I didn’t even turn in the tv during my stay. Although the wi fi was excellent to have for work. Didn’t get to see much of the neighborhood although I did walk a few blocks to the huge local coop to stick up on some great food. Parking was convenient. My host frequently kept in touch to make sure I was happy. All in all I fabulous stay. I highly recommend.

Eclectic Oasis in the heart of Bellingham

What a cool, eclectic place in the heart of downtown. I particularly loved all of the local, handmade soaps, lotions, bath salts, etc. The place was cozy and very thoughtfully decorated. It made me feel like I was in my twenties again, but in a good way. My family and I will definitely be back! Thanks for a memorable stay in Bellingham.

Cozy and comfy in great central location!

We truly enjoyed our home-away-from-home at the Victorian on Garden. The location is very central—easy walking distance to downtown and easy to access other parts of town as well. Great views in all directions from this second story apartment! The place is well stocked with very nice beverages and local bath products. And Emma was fantastic!
