Not sure how this property sleeps 10. It only worked for us because my two adult daughters slept in the same bed with my y4 year old granddaughter.

Mother’s Day weekend

Great space for our group of 5 plus pup for Mother’s Day weekend! We took advantage of the kayaks, hot tub and fire pit (there are 2!) Everyone was comfortable and content. Location was great - close enough to downtown Bham but we felt like we were away from the hustle.

What a view!

You cannot beat the view from this property! My family and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend here while heading into Bellingham for fun during the day. There are stairs to access the property (which we knew), but that is something to consider if booking. The access road and driveway are also fairly steep--we have an AWD so it was not a concern. The kitchen was well-appointed, the beds were comfortable, and did I mention the view? A peaceful place to relax while visiting our WWU student--I imagine it's ideal in warmer months, too!

Short bit sweet

We had a short but wonderful spring stay while checking out Western Washington University with some teens new to Bellingham. Communication was great and the house was advertised. Any issues or questions were addressed quickly and timely.

Awesome lake home

Wow. What a great find. Wonderful, relaxing home perched above Whatcom lake. We only wish we had stayed longer. The house is stunning as is the view and many outdoor amenities, which we were not able to use due to our short stay. We did enjoy a hot tub, which was lovely, but wished we had more time to use the outdoor fire pit, lounge on the chair loungers in with coffee and spend more time swimming from the private beach. We will be back! Thank you so much for the great stay and wonderful home.

Serene beauty and fun.

The place looked great in the ad and even better in person. The cabin is beautiful with great views. The design is very nice. We spent a lot of time on the lake and really enjoyed the outdoor space. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Kureg coffee was provided. There is a French press if you want to bring your own ground coffee.

Serenity with incredible views!

We stayed at the property for my birthday trip and were instantly relaxed the moment we pulled up. The house was tucked away perfectly, Carla’s directions lead us right there though. Walking down the front steps you’re hit with the view of Whatcom Lake, it’s magical. The house is gorgeous! The finishes feel so high end and cozy at the same time. The heated floor in the primary bath was perfect. The hot tub was a perfect bonus. Especially as we were visiting when it was pretty chilly out. Really enjoyed the lake & star viewing out there. Highly recommend trekking down the steps to the lake, perfect morning coffee spot! All in all we felt so comfortable and peaceful at the lake house, exactly what I was hoping for.

Beautiful house and property

We had a wonderful experience here! The house is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The lake views are beautiful. The hot tub was hot when we arrived. The check-in and check-out processes were very fast and easy. The host was communicative and friendly. It’s a very short (under 15 min) drive to a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc in downtown Bellingham. We were a group of 7 friends and we were all comfortable as there are lots of beds.

Relaxing getaway

For our weekend friend trip this location was perfect. We're a group of nurses in Seattle, so this was an easy trip, but it still felt like we were really getting away thanks to the location. We spent a little time in Bellingham for a dinner the first night and brunch on our way out, but mostly enjoyed the lake view and coziness of the house. The house was clean, exactly as shown, and an easy drive to town. There are stairs to the drive and to various levels of the property, so all visitors should be aware of that.

Stunning Modern Lake House with Priceless View

Our family of 5 enjoyed a week together, paddle boarding, kayaking, and wake surfing. Every evening we dined and played games on the expansive deck over looking the lake. Two fire pits on the property to enjoy s’mores, and the strung exterior lights added such a cool vibe. The interior of this home is stunning and modern, sleek finishes, heated floors, big marble island to gather around. Looking forward to booking again!!!

Beautiful inside and out!

I stayed at this beautiful property for my birthday with my best girlfriends, and we couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was! The property is only 15 minutes from DT Bellingham, but feels so remote and private. The house is nestled in trees, overlooking Lake Watcom with private beach access, and two firepits. From the outside it looks like a rustic cozy home. Inside, it has been completely reno’d, with beautiful and high-end updates including heated bathroom floors, fabulous showers, marble counters, induction stove. The beds are all very comfortable with soft hotel-quality bedding. Lots of storage space to unpack your suitcase and feel right at home. I had my dog with me, and there was a food/water dish already there waiting for him, and he was so happy to explore the property. The view is stunning, from either of the two decks, from the kitchen window, or from the hottub! There are lots of stairs, good for your weekend cardio, but to keep in mind for accessibility (from parking, to firepit, and to beach). We had an amazing weekend, it couldn’t have been better and we will be back for sure!
