Peaceful little getaway
This cottage is in the perfect spot, only minutes from town, but with the feel that you are very much away from it all. We loved sitting on the verandah having dinner and drinks, and our 5 children loved the flat lawn area and going for little nature walks around the property. The cottage was very cosy and clean, would definitely recommend to other families. Check in and out was very simple and the hosts were friendly.

A little piece of paradise
We booked this cottage for three nights. It was amazing, beautiful and comfortable on the inside with the bonus of a big veranda looking out on to the mountains. It’s set in its own grounds so very peaceful but close enough to go to Bellingen if you want some hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend this property.

Tranquil solitude
We love staying at the cottage, this is our third stay. The cottage is perfectly located, quiet, tranquil and sitting on the balcony is our favourite thing to do. My kids love the wildlife and front yar space. The pool is fabulous and I love the fireplace.

Would stay again
Very happy with our stay. Well stocked with everything needed, and with quality products. All our needs were accommodated, and hosts always friendly. The view from the back deck is stunning, and the town close by. We enjoyed a swim daily in the pool, and would love to stay again.

Serene sanctuary
Had a great stay at fern ridge farm, very comfortable, everything you could need for a comfy home away from home. Beautiful sunsets from the deck, enjoyed with afternoon beverage. Peaceful retreat with magnificent views
A beautiful cottage fully renovated with a nod to a bygone era. Comfortable beds, quality linen, and full amenities to make our four night stay one of our best. We loved spending the day on the generous balcony and soaking in the winter sunshine and unbelievable views. (Occasional visit from resident Alpaca on front lawn just made it more special) Just on the outskirts of town, so a super location for many great restaurants & cafes, and we plan to come back again to go and see more of the local sites.

A private haven for tranquility and rejuvenation
Excellent accommodation, very hospitable host, nice little touches of things you might need like wood coffee milk soaps shampoos etc, lovely private bush setting with lots of little birds like wrens and honey eaters on native shrubs in the garden, cosy wood heater, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Very close to town and lots of interesting things to do in the area. If you need tranquility to rejuvenate you this is a great cottage to escape to.

Peace and Tranquility
Fernridge Farm Cottage is very elegant and cosy with a wonderful wood fire for the cold winter nights. The views of the mountains are beautiful and as you sit on the verandah, taking in the wonderful surrounds, you are wrapped in sunlight from dawn to dusk. The cottage is very close to Bellingen and the coast making it an ideal base to explore the local area. Wonderful host.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Fernridge. The house was immaculate and comfortable providing all the amenities we needed for our 12 night stay. Christmas getaway

So relaxing
We stayed 2 nights at Fernridge and thoroughly enjoyed it. The outlook of the property is beautiful, the surrounding area well maintained and the cottage itself is very comfortable. Everything added to a very relaxing and peaceful weekend. Bellingen is full of lovely shops and cafes If you’re looking for a quiet getaway look no further, absolutely loved it

Country Bliss
This is a lovely renovated country cottage with a beautiful view from the large verandah across to the Dorigo ranges. It is spacious and well equipped, and the hosts were obliging and helpful without being at all intrusive. We want to go back and hope to visit again next year. Oh yes, one more thing. Our dog Bonnie loved the wide open spaces in the garden area surrounding the cottage and, like us, was calmed by the sounds and sights of the birdlife. Just 15 miniutes to Bellingem as well...

Beautiful environment
Such a beautiful view and great location. There was a fireplace and reverse cycle airconditioner to keep us warm. There was milk, eggs and cookies in the kitchen as well as tea and coffee which was nice.

Historic cottage

Cottage Nest
Loved staying at this little cottage. Our host’s Judy and Rick were wonderful to liaise with and very friendly. The cottage was immaculate, kitchen and lounge room had everything you could possibly need to make your stay very comfortable. Two beautiful reclining armchairs overlooking an amazing view completed the lounge room. The deck was amazing and a real focal point of our stay.We were visited by some of the most amazing bird life. The large open verandah and the extended roof made it possible to stay outdoors while watching the rain pour down. Visually perfect whilst looking over the hills in the distance. Highly recommend Fernridge Cottage, will definitely return.

Country get away!
Our visit to Fernridge Cottage was just what we needed. After a year of Covid lock downs, a short break was invaluable. A perfect distance from town for shopping and meals. Perfectly located between the coast and Dorrigo National Park, we spent our mornings out exploring and came back to the cottage to sit on the porch and watch the storms roll in over the mountains. Just beautiful. Our dog loved it too and was very happy to meet our hosts puppies. Our hosts were just terrific. Friendly and responsive. Would recommend to anyone just looking to relax!

A lovely 2 bedroom cottage on a hill just outside Bellingen. Great wide deck with views to the mountains. Pet friendly - our small dog was made very welcome. Very clean & comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen with extras such as tea, coffee m/c, sugar, oil, vinegar, eggs, milk - & choc chip biscuits! Ensuite & full bathroom, comfortable lounge, good wi-fi & mobile reception. Only 5 mins from Bellingen & short drive to Promised Land & Never Never River.

Greeted like a treasured guest
The soul of the house is cosy and warm. There were home made biscuits in the cookie jar, and a Kit Kat on the pillow. Whoever took those bird and animal photos is most talented. Great place to stay, relax and recharge. Thanks.

This is my third return visit within the last 12 months. You never tire of the wonderful view and well equiped property. The addition of the Smart TV with Netflix, Stan and Hayu adds extra home comforts

Return stay
This is the second time I have stayed at Fernridge Farm Cottage and I will be back. Great location, very 'sittable' verandah, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen - not that we used it, preferring to eat out in Bellingen at a variety of restaurants. The addition of the ensuite since I first stayed is welcome, though the water pressure needs to be looked at. Have to be the nicest Stayz property I've ever stayed at.

Waterfalls and Meadows
Wonderfull stay in a serene location. Bellingen is a super little town - incredible Saturday market. Three days after the floods the scenic drive via Waterfall Way to Ebor then back via Dorrigo National Park was incredible. We we did several short walks in the World Heritage Gondwana Rainforest and finished our day with a second visit to the Never Never swimming hole at Glennifer, which is absolutely stunning. Fernridge cottage is super well equipped with comfy beds and a front porch with views over the valley perfect for an evening G&T and family board game. Highly recommend. S, J & E.
