Wonderful home for a group - well stocked, clean, quiet and lovely surroundings. We used if for an extended family stay for PSU graduation - only 30'ish minutes to State College with plenty of room to accommodate our group. Really enjoyed the sunrises!

We found this gem of a place a few weeks before the whiteout game. It was affordable and everything in the house was as described. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could've spent more time here at the house as it was very relaxing and homey.

The property was clean and well decorated. It was very comfortable and there was plenty of room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large. Plenty of pillows and towels. One minor quibble was that the internet speed was inconsistent. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and his siblings wanted to explore Bellevue. Their grandmother and father were born in the area and my husband and his siblings wanted to find their birthplace. This vacation home is centrally located to everything. The home was perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of room and the kitchen met our needs. Check in and check out was very simple and easy. We had some absolutely amazing food in the area and will definitely be back.

Dead cockroach in the bathroom.Equate hand soap was mostly water with a little soap floating at the top.1 extra roll of tp and 6 towelsin shared bathroom. Leftover food in freezer and fridge. Coffee can was half empty with a scoop buried in the grounds.Religious pictures and books throughout the

It was rustic but very nice. the bathrooms were very new and we had overhang we needed. the neighbors were Amish people and very nice and we really enjoyed meeting some folks. It was a lovely area with beautiful view The location was a little isolated, but we knew that. We really liked the place and the owners had everything very well marked and made it ver convenient,

A family member got married at a venue 30 minutes away. We loved the house in the tranquil Big Valley. The only tiny thing that was missing was body soap in the 2nd floor bathroom.

The house was very nice and clean. We didnt stay at the house long during the days. we spent our time exploring the area within a50 mile or so. The pace of life here is what we all wish for. Great place. (PS) the tub upstairs drains very slow

Very nice! However, we were surprised there were no large or even kitchen size garbage bags so we used grocery bags. The other thing was at the endvof our stay, we looked in dryer and found lots of towels that we didn't know were there. It was a great location for us and will rebook in the future!!!!

I was born in Lewistown and lived in both Allensville and Belleville...come back every year for our family reunion. Decided to find a spot where my daughter and grandchildren could stay with us too. It worked out great, lots of space and rooms for everyone.

The sunroom was the perfect place to visit with old friends. The house was as expected with no surprises. Everyone commented on the comfort of the beds. The host contacted me ahead of the stay and was quick to answer all my questions.

Boasting beautiful views of predominantly Amish farmland, Big Valley is surrounded by picturesque mountain sprawls and rolling hills. Through the many lovely windows of this spacious home, the views are enjoyable when blanketed in snow or under blue skies and fluffy white clouds skimming overhead. We enjoyed the cozy den during the snowstorm that greeted us on Friday upon arrival, then woke up to watch a gorgeous sunrise peeking over the mountain across the field and delicate fog that danced across it. By afternoon, the snow was melted and the fields of gold and green were waving at us, along with the freshly hung laundry on every clothesline. The sun-kissed hills smiled at us as we drove around the roads, waving to the horse and buggies that were our only traffic in and out of the town. The signs posted locally are the encouraging Word of God, which leaves visitors feeling blessed to experience this heavenly place. The home itself was stocked with all one might need, no matter how well-prepared you thought your packing had been. A large family can enjoy the layout of this thought-out design, with decor that is timeless and amenities that are modern enough to not take away from the experience while still providing a comfortable stay. The bathrooms are updated and clean, the beds are comfortable and the overall aesthetic is welcoming and peaceful. We came for State College, but we will be back for Belleville. Be sure to sign the guest book which has been going for decades!

The house has everything you need, although the sleeping arrangements are great in the 3 bedrooms with queen beds but the hideabeds and bunk beds are uncomfortable. The living spaces need updated and more comfortable seating. We would rent here again.
