We had the most wonderful time at the Good Ol’Days house! It’s such an amazing home that transports you back in time with its incredible collection of decor and furniture from the years past. You could spend 2 days looking at the amazing display of everything in all of the rooms! It truly is an amazing home and so beautiful. The bed was so comfortable as was all of the other furniture inside and out. We enjoyed porch watching and the bunnies and birds everywhere enjoying spring weather. The welcome sign and treats and pasta dinner offered was such a special warm touch as well. This home has everything you need and more for a comfortable and fun stay and experience! We cannot wait to come back and stay again! Thank you for your warm hospitality and we just loved it here. Just what the heart and soul needed!

The kitchen was small but very functional. We were able to make our Gram's traditional pizza on her old Ovenex pans. it was a lot of fun looking around at the reminders of the "Good Old Days" while we got ready for my husband's 59th.
We love the coach for the Penguins--what a turn around this year! The rental was the perfect distance from the games we went to.
My Dad came and celebrated the birthday with us. He is 84 and was perfectly comfortable. His first NHL game since the Hartford Whalers!!

Melanie is an amazing host! I love this place! So much like going back in time. It is authentic rather than gimmicky. I can’t say enough good things. We stayed when it was decorated for Christmas but I’d love to see it as normal too. All the detail was so well executed. And it smelled like my grandmas house! This house made me feel happy, secure, loved, and hugged. Book without hesitation.

I was expecting a lot of vintage memorabilia, however what you dont see in the pictures is the large amount of religious items. I'm used to people having a few things of that nature but this was enough to make us a little uncomfortable, as we aren't catholic. Otherwise the place was clean and the kids had fun with the game room. Hosts were hospitable and communicated well.

A trip down memory lane...

...and then some. My family and I had such a memorable stay. Every inch of the home was packed with the sights, sounds and smells of our childhood. The house is cozy, comfortable and immaculate. One note: there is only one ac unit but plenty of fans were provided. Melanie is a very gracious host and accessible. The location was perfect for our weekend activities but honestly the best times were spent in the house, taking it all in and hours on chatting on the porch. We will definitely return!

Unique and Fun!

Family really enjoyed all of the different themes in each room. The game room was a hit! The hosts were wonderful and responsive. We were given a tour of the home on arrival, and they were quick to bring extra lighting during an unexpected power outage. We did not realize that there is also a tiny guest house on the back of the property that is available to book, and our host was able to give that guest a quick tour of the big house also. They share a parking area and a small part of the backyard space, but we rarely saw the other tenants. Booking both homes would be fun for a larger group! The big house is three stories, with game room and full bath in the basement, living area and half bath on the main floor, and three bedrooms, full bath, and laundry closet on the top floor. The kitchen space is small for cooking, but the adjacent dining room is large with plenty of seating. We also enjoyed the front porch and back patio areas. This home is a unique and fun experience!

Incredible Stay

This is by far the best VRBO experience ever! We celebrated my mom's 79th birthday as well as visiting my son who plays for the Cal football team. Walking around the house brought back so many memories! The communications from the owner were outstanding and in fact were typically responded in less than an hour. The house was extremely clean and the decorations left no detail behind. My son enjoyed the pinball machine and the arcade games and as a family we just enjoyed sitting in the living room talking. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will be staying here again for sure!

Trip down memory lane!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the "Good Ole Days" house. A memory at every turn and it was so cozy and warm. A great way to spend Thanksgiving week with family. Melanie was a wonderful host and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend staying here for an unique and memorable experience.

We are 50 and 52. Kids are all 20 and over. Was great to play show and tell as you explored the house. We found the place by luck, but it was excellent. Melanie is a fantastic host. Wonderful Family Experience

From the moment we walked in the house, it felt like going to grandma's again. It's not called The Good Ol Days House for nothing. Most anything and everything you can think of from the 50s 60s and 70s was in this house. We played albums, Rock em Sock em Robots and pinball....and there was plenty more to do and see. Besides the 5 staying in the house, we invited other family members for lunch and they had a blast just touring around the house and reminiscing. The kitchen was a bit tight (just like my grandma's, but thats the way they were back in the day) but the rest of the house had plenty of room to spread out. The bedrooms were spacious, and with 5 women, 2 1/2 bathrooms were a blessing. I enjoyed the back porch every morning watching rabbits and chipmunks, and also spent time on the front porch watching the towns people going about their day. We are already planning to go back for another reunion. Its an experience you won't forget.
