"This cottage was perfect to enjoy and explore the east (and north/south) sides of PEI. Freshly painted and well-maintained, it had a definite beachy feel. The tap water tasted great and the shower had lots of water pressure. The bbq and electric fireplace made it a pleasant place to cook and relax after a day of sightseeing. Once the owners add wifi/tv services, it will be even better, although we did watch several of the supplied DVD movies on the flat screen smart tv. Our cell phone data...

"Cottage was very clean and comfortable. When we weren't out exploring the island, we enjoyed the peace and quiet on the back porch with the view of the sea. Thank you,Tammy, for the local goodies. They were a treat. My only suggestion would be to have written instructions at the house with the Wi-Fi password. We struggled to find it, and without CP service outside the US, we had no way to contact anyone to answer our questions."

"This was a lovely, bright, clean and very charming cottage. It had a very short walk to a beautiful beach. The cottage itself was very comfortable, well maintained and in a great location. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. Monica was a great host, very friendly and welcoming to us. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a charming cottage with close access to the beach."

"The cottage was quite sandy,and floor hadnt been cleaned. We mentioned the broken hose on outside heated and it was replaced next day. Other than this we enjoyed our stay."

"This location on PEI is perfect. Close to coves and beaches and light houses. Charlottetown is only 40 minutes away. Loved exploring this part of the island. It is a sweet accommodation-- the kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to cook great meals - a plus in the off season when most restaurants are closed. The beds are comfy, the hot water endless. It is so quiet, being set back from the street. A great place to unwind. No hesitation in saying this is a great place to stay"

"Cute cottage on the ocean with beautiful views in a quiet community. Beds were comfortable, with ample room to lounge. Hot tub was great with beautiful ocean views and privacy. There are two single lane dirt roads in and preferred using Shorty's Lane, as there would be ample room to move over if a car was coming the other way. "We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of PEI. We selected The Cottage at Mink Basin because it was close to a wedding we were attending. The beaches, lighthouses, and seafood were perfect. It was a wonderful vacation for us. The cottage was perfect - cosy, comfortable, and quiet. The location is great for sightseeing the eastern side of the island."
