The best property, by far, we have rented. Grandkids loved the deer that would walk by. Loved the outdoor firepit and yard. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Comfy leather couch and big screen tv for football watching. Clean...clean..clean.

Perfection! We have been staying at Shanty Creek for 6 years and this was by far our best trip and it was because of this house! The house is even more than the pictures show-so much space, inside and out. There was a family of 4 (2 parents and 2 kids, ages 10 & 11) and then an aunt & uncle. The primary suite is on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms, so it seemed like they had their own wing. The basement was a great hangout, the fire pit was used almost every night, and we were able to walk to the hotel, the Nest, and Shanty Town. During our stay, two fawn and their mom were hanging around the yard on multiple days. The kitchen is fully stocked and with pans that didn’t make eggs stick to them! We felt at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Stacy was wonderful, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. We’ve never been brave enough to trek up for the winter, but all of us agreed that this is the house that would have us come back in the snow.

Very nice and relaxing

Had a very nice week with friends and family, we weren’t sure if we would be including the kids on the trip when we made the initial reservation were planning it to be just a golf trip but glad we decided to bring them both the house and surrounding area location are very family oriented. Lots to do both at the house for the kiddos and the surrounding area. Lots of sightseeing and lake activities. Wonderful family or just adult location, will definitely be back. House was very nicely kept and clean, decently updated as well and plenty of room for us all.

The house was absolutely perfect. It was very cozy and comfortable. It had all the amenities possibly needed…. Great communication and an easy checkout process. The only thing I would note is to bring your own towels to the pool.

Great Experience

Everything was excellent! Our group has stayed multiple times at the property for golf and ski weekends. We really enjoy the courses and slopes at Shanty Creek/Schuss Mountain. It is really nice to have a home away from home to retreat too. Stacey is always extremely quick to respond and has the property exactly as advertised upon arrival.

New Years get away

Our family of four and our two in-laws stayed here over New Years. The home had plenty of space on the main floor as well as the lower level. We didn't even need to utilize the lower level at all but is a great option for larger groups. Great location with short drives into town or to Schuss. Home is well stocked with all the necessities. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Spacious family get away destination

3 rooms upstairs, huge play/game room downstairs. Wonderful central location to everything. The fireplace is so dreamy. We do not get that experience much in Texas. Thank you for sharing your home. Would recommend this home in the future.

Great interior layout and great location

We’ve stayed at this home multiple times and enjoy it each time. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you’d need, and the house was great for our group of children (ages 3-6), teens, adults, and seniors. Stacey checks in to make sure things are going well and is very responsive. We will be back again next year!

Beautiful property, exactly as pictured. Very spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable & clean, with extra linens / pillows available. Loved the board games / cards for everyone to play together. Perfect location - easy to get to the ski hill or head downtown. Family Getaway in Bellaire

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It is in a perfect location; close to Torch Lake for boating, golf courses, Charlevoix and Traverse City. Bellaire is also a great little town with some good restaurants and small shops. The property is lovely. The home is clean and very comfortable with special touches and a well outfitted kitchen. The host, Stacy, has been very accommodating. She has answered all of our questions and made an effort to meet all of our needs perfectly.

Family getaway

We loved staying at this home! It accommodated our family of 6 adults and one child just perfectly. The home was super clean and so nicely stocked with every item we needed to cook with, even a few pantry items we forgot to bring were already there. We so appreciated that. These hosts thought of EVERYTHING for their guests. I don’t see how anyone could possibly be disappointed with this one. It was spacious, beautiful and just perfect.
